10. Journey into mystery - 2

Back at the Loki Palace, the group of Lokis were facing Classic Loki, Kid Loki, Alligator Loki, and Boastful Loki.

Loki groaned in frustration while Thor couldn't help but let out a cackle.

Everyone else stared at the Loki faceoff in fascination.

"I know this isn't going to end well," said Sam. "There are too many Lokis in one room."

"Of course, it isn't going to end well!" Loki said, exasperated. He was tired of seeing his variants.

President Loki smirked as he stood in the centre.

"President Loki, huh," said Steve. "That's an interesting thought."

Bucky snorted. "There has to be a timeline where you're the President."

Steve balked. "No, thank you. I don't want to deal with all of the bureaucracy. I think I'd go insane."

"You bastard! You led the wolves to our door," Classic Loki told Loki, who was standing to the side.

"He didn't even do anything," Thor defended.

"One of those Lokis probably betrayed them," muttered Loki. "That's what we do."

President Loki said they preferred snakes.

Thor glared at Loki. "Yeah, preferring to transform yourself into snakes and stab me."

Loki rolled his eyes. "Come on; you thought it was funny. Besides, it's like Get Help."

"You love Get Help."

"I don't love Get Help; it's humiliating. You love Get Help."

"It's a classic!"

"What's Get Help?" Scott asked.

"It's where we pretend Loki is injured and about to die, and then I throw Loki at someone."

Everyone looked at Thor and Loki in disbelief.

Kid Loki said he had eaten both, and they die the same.

"Damn, this kid is intense," said Rhodey.

Boastful Loki placed his Mjolnir at Kid Loki's neck and said he betrayed him and now he was King.

All of them were unimpressed.

"Ah, there's the betrayal," said Loki.

"So predictable," said Thor, rolling his eyes.

President Loki stepped forward. "About that..." The group of Loki's pointed their weapons at Boastful Loki.

"Double betrayal?!" Everyone cried.

"Okay, I wasn't expecting the double betrayal, but I should've," said Loki. "They're all Lokis."

"This is the most Loki thing I've ever seen," said Tony with wide eyes. "The multiverse is insane!"

"You can't be serious," said Boastful Loki.

"Boastful Loki can't be surprised that a Loki is betraying someone?" said Bruce. "He just betrayed someone."

"What did you expect?" President Loki asked.

"Exactly!" said Thor.

"Mobius was right," said Stephen. "Lokis love to stab people in the back."

Boastful Loki hissed that wasn't the bargain. "I gave you our location. In exchange for shelter and supplies, you give me your army, and I take the throne."
