Lydia's POV

"It's just a scratch." I respond to the person wanting me to wake up. I couldn't make out the voice for some reason. I got my eyes to open, but to my surprise, nobody was there. I swore someone was just talking to me. I examined the room to find that it looked like a tornado blew through. It was like the first episode of The Walking Dead when Rick responded to Shane bringing him flowers but Shane wasn't even there. If there's zombies out there when I get up, I'm going to be so fucking pissed. I sat up and realized that the gauze on my shoulder was fresh. Guess that knocks the apocalypse out of reasons why a file cabinet is toppled over. Shockingly living flowers surrounded the room. Either I haven't been asleep for as long as I thought or someone's been tending to them. The partially deflated "Get Well Soon" balloon above my bed suggests that it's been a little over a week or two. The door opened and my team came in with many expressions.

"Thank god you're awake. You're gonna wanna hear this." Steve spoke seriously. I figured they would have been more thrilled about the fact that I'm conscious, but I guess I can deal.

"Okay... not exactly the first words you wanna hear when you wake up after a long-ass nap, but continue." I laugh. Natasha didn't find me humorous for the moment. She looked pretty pissed at me, but she also looked worried.

"When SHIELD recruited you, did you leave any information out that would have been important?" She wondered. I squinted,

"No... everything I told them was everything I knew about myself. They were very thorough." Nat sighed,

"So it's true then." Her words caused everyone to go into an even gloomier state. The fact that everyone was skipping around was pissing me off.

"Can someone please tell me what the hell is going on here?"

Clint, for some reason, always knew how to calm me down when I became irate. He walked up and put his hand on my good shoulder and proceeded to explain in a calm voice.

"Something happened when you were first admitted into the hospital. Bucky was sitting next to you and when he asked for a sign of life, everything started shaking. You sent this room and everyone in it back in time. To the 60's, to be exact. When we found out how to get back, thanks to your buddy Charles, we did research into what was left in SHIELD's database. We found a file called "Project Knox" which took place in '68. SHIELD found you to be a threat, so they erased every memory you had of your other abilities and implanted 'filler memories' that took the place of them to avoid gaps. Some fillers may include being in the secret service and any memories you had of your parents."

"Why would they do that?" I asked. Natasha stepped forward,

"Your parents were total lunatics who were so obsessed with finding out the world's secrets that they had a baby for the purpose of experimentation. Your mother would inject herself with serums that caused your inability to die. One of the side effects caused you to have a mutation that was classified as a birth defect that causes you to be able to change your DNA structure and cellular makeup. When you were an infant, your parents mixed some sort of agent in your formula and baby food to build up your brain, which caused you to use 30% of it. That's how you got your chronokinesis, tychokinesis, and clairvoyance. They gave you up when you were three years old. You see, SHIELD knew you were dangerous from the moment they saw you. They took away the memories of the most dangerous of your abilities to avoid any major timebending. They also rid you of the biokinesis to ensure that you can't change your looks to rob a bank or commit any other crime. Clairvoyance and tychokinesis stayed that way one day they'll find you and recruit you for those advantages. When you knocked us back in time, we were able to retrieve your memories before they were erased so you should still have them by now." I took a moment to think back and it was like i had a knew life. All of my time with the secret service was no longer memorable and I remembered how to use my abilities, as well as control them. Though this was all so fascinating, I still wanted to know why Bucky and Stark weren't here.
