Munson and me!

Part 2

*Eddies p.o.v*

We just finished a quick game on D&D ay school and are all on our to Dustins for dinner, his mum invited us, which is odd, because I'm almost certain she doesn't like me, but then again she just doesnt know me yet.

"Henderson, I am going the right way right? I always miss this damn turn!" I ask, he looks at me like im stupid.

"Well Eddie, thays because you drive like a mad man, and yes we are going the right way, its the next right." He answered me.

"Hmph! I dont drive like a mad man!" I mutter under my breath, I am pretty sure I'm hitting every twig or anything that's on the road, maybe i do drive a little fast, but its fun, makes you feel free.

We arrive at Dustins and I can see only his mums car is here, meaning his sister isn't here, maybe she's with that friend of hers, pretty sure they hang out with no one but each other.

"Dustin, your sister and her mate, do they not hang out with anyone except each other?" I ask him.

"No they don't, they've been friends with each other, since, like always. Only ever the two of them, never let me join their games growing up." He replies to me.

"Well why would you want to plat girls games anyways?" I ask him.

"Okay, Eddie, tell no one this, but i inly know of D&D, because of them, they used to play and I just watched, they said I was too young to play, but they don't anymore and now I do." He replied.

One word to describe how I'm feeling, shocked, I was not expecting him to say that Beth and her cute little friend used to play the best game invented.

"Wow...what? That's amazing! We should try getting them to play sometimes!" I say to him, but by the look on his face, he disagrees.

"Yeah, i hate to break it to you Eddie, there's no way they'll play with us, but you can ask." He replies to me.

As we walk in his house his mum comes and greets us, she smiles at me but still looks a bit wary, but I'll win her over.

"Hi Claudia, you look lovely today and the house smells amazing, are you cooking?" I ask her.

She smiles wider, "Hello dear, thank you charmer, and I am cooking yes, meatloaf and potatoes." She replies whilst walking back into the kitchen.

Oh, winning her over will be easy, I follow Dustin into the front room, he and the guys sit on the sofa and I'm left to an arm chair, which I do not mind, comfier for me.

I hear the door open and Charlies voice, I wouldn't tell anyone this, but I've noticed her, around school, alot, I think she's rather good looking, her voice would not get on my nerves, at all.

But Beth's on the other hand, gets a little much at times, but she's nice, and I tolerate her when I see her around with Dustin.

Beth walks straight through to the kitchen, with a quick hi to us, whilst Charlie talks to Claudia, it's obvious they are close like actual mother and daughter, then Claudia walks through, and after her Charlie does, she looks around the room and i look away, hope she didnt catch me staring.

I can feel her eyes on me but she quickly walks through to the kitchen, I couldn't help myself but stare as she walked through, she has a rather nice figure, well from what I can see, nice legs.

When I turn my head away after shes walked through, I catch all the guys staring at me with knowing looks, I can tell they all know, even though i havent told anyone, they know, we are close, but not like Beth and Charlie.

"So, Eddie, you like Charlie then?" Mike asks me.

I look at him and give him the hardest stare I can, "shut your mouth Wheeler! That goes for the rest of you too!" I whisper shout at them.

Yes, I think shes incredibly good looking, but for all I know, she could be horrible and only look good, heaven on the eyes, hell on the ears.

When dinners done, we all crowd around the kitchen table, bit of a struggle as its a table that sits three when right now there's myself, Dustin, Mike, Claudia, Beth and Charlie.

Between myself and Charlie is Dustin, I wish he would've swapped seats with me but I wouldnt say anything to anyone.

"This dinner is amazing mum, thank you for letting me stay tonight!" Charlie exclaims happily, she has a nice smile, I quickly look away before anyone sees me gawking, but Beth was already looking at me. Crap.

After dinner Beth and Charlie both go up to Beths room, whilst I say my goodbyes to Dustin and Claudia, I'll be dropping Mike home.

"Goodbye Dustin." Me and Mike give him a little handshake hug goodbye, then Mike goes and gets in the van.

I turn to Claudie, "Thank you Claudia, for letting me round and making me food, I appreciate it." I say with a big smile, she smiles back and says it's no problem and I'm welcome anytime, then i make my leave.
