one.

the gentle rays of sunlight and the faint morning breeze hits your feature. when the sunlight becomes too much for your eyes, you stirred, opting to change your position– but then, realization dawns over you. opening your eyes, you scan the surroundings, only to pinch your eyes close again. shit, shit shit. your senses heightened and when you felt there's no other movements around, you gently sit up.

that's when you took notice of your state, you're dressed in a baby pink shirt with your bra and undies in their respective places, only that you have no shorts on. did we do it last night? why am i dressed? did he put these on me?

seriously, you dont have any spare time to think over things so quickly slipping off from the blanket, you then searched for your things around the room. you wore your skirt back but didnt bother to change your shirt anymore. when you've had your things in hand, you went out, not even throwing the guy you've been with last night a single glance. he was sleeping anyway.

arriving at your single-room apartment, you quickly hopped into the shower. then you noticed the lack of makeup in your face when you stand before the mirror. i had a makeup on last night though. if it was smudged during the activities last night, then there still has to be a remnants of those colors but no, your face was wiped clean. did he perhaps wiped it off when i was asleep?

truthfully, you found the thought of it wholesome but you quickly dismissed it, you're not sure if that was really the case or your makeup just wasnt that settled. also, you remembered you still have to be at work in thirty minutes.

“and she lives..” ever so dramatically, your friend named donghyuck, gasped upon your entrance at your workplace, “also, can you cover those? please do.”

“huh? wha—” your confusion stops when you walked by a mirror on the way to the employee's room, “oh shit.” settling your bag on a table, you quickly searched in your makeup purse for a concealer.

donghyuck sends you a malicious glance when he find you covering the marks and offered to help nonetheless. “wow, rough night, huh.”

at the statement, your mind immediately drifts back to the moments last night, zoning out in result. if it werent for donghyuck who smacks you at the back of your head gently, you wouldnt be pulled out of your trance.

“thats the thing though..” you mused, earning a curious raise of brow from your friend, “i cant remember whether or not we really did it— i guess i passed out in the middle of it.”

donghyuck cackled at that, head thrown back, “if you really did, you're an idiot. i cant believe you, y/n.”

managing a café in a small tropical island means being busy on the majority of your work time, taking orders from foreign and domestic visitors and serving it all afterwards. it's simple yet tiring but at the end of the day, you wont trade it for any other work. plus, the breath-taking view the island offers that you get to see everyday makes it all worth it, like you're living the best life. which is kind of true because you live in a literal a tropical paradise and you're making money at the same time.
