She's a prophecy dragon Glory yelled in her mind. Why her, my daughter but that prophecy was suspicious. I messed up a lot. I'm such a failure. Glory hugged me. Huh but I failed. "Glory, did you listen to the prophecy?" Deathbringer said. Glory bit back a sob. "Yes but then that means Firefly has to be in the prophecy that means s-she might die in the process" Glory said sadly. What if she dies we could have been a happy family. I hate prophecies, but they can also not be true. I need to think like that. I felt ashamed. But I need to know about my prophecy. "Firefly, can you read my mind?" Glory said sternly. Please say no. Should I tell her I mean she's my mother. But there will be a consequence. I will hate myself after this. "Yes mother, I can read minds." I said "Then can you read my mind right now?" She is gonna be just like Moon. Maybe I should not let her go to Jade Mountain. "You're thinking about how I'm like Moon, who I don't know about and I should not go to Jade Mountain?" I said sadly.
"Yes dear" said Glory. Then Glory twined her tail with Deathbringer. " I feel that maybe we should eat," said Deathbringer. "Definitely, I feel that I need to take out all this stress." Glory said. Glory hugged me tight. I climbed on to her. And she seemed to not like it but softened up a few seconds later. I need to think about this. Then my eyes fluttered. Then I slept.
(Glory's Pov)
When Deathbringer came back I twined my tail with his. "Glory, what's wrong?" Deathbringer said while he was tinkering with his talons. Then he ran over to the kitchen to make the food. I took Firefly from my back. I held her when she was still sleeping. Then she sneezed. Her snout wrinkled. "Glory food is ready." Deathbringer. I woke up Firefly. "Hewo mommy," Firefly said. "Hello dear time for some food" I said. Firefly followed me to the kitchen. When I came in Deathbringer twined my tail with his. I put Firefly in the chair. "Woah this looks good" I said. It was a giant fruit salad and some secret sauce. Then Deathbringer went outside. When I finished my food and put Firefly to sleep I followed Deathbringer.
"Hey Deathy." I said quietly. "What" he said while he put his talons on mine. I turned pink but tried to fight it. "So about the prophecy." Deathbringer said. "I really don't want to talk about it, sorry my love" I said. "I get it Glory." We stared at each other for a couple of minutes. I thought it was pretty awkward so I walked away to Firefly. Deathbringer followed me quietly. He probably thought that he was sneaky but I knew he was doing that. I snuggled next to Firefly and put my wing on her. She relaxed when I did that. Then Deathbringer came in with a smug face but I was too sleepy to talk about it. He slept right next to me and twined my tail with his.
