"Quinn! Come down for dinner!" I heard my mom yell from downstairs, I groaned and put my book down then rushed downstairs.

I smiled when I saw my favorite on the table, chicken Alfredo. "Grazie mamma" My mom smiled and nodded.

I sat down and started eating. "How was you're day?" My mom asked curiously. I kept eating and shrugged. "Good, I guess? I just read all day. You know.. the usual" I laughed at myself.

She shook her head and tried to hide her smile. "Quinn, you know I love that you're into books more and not being a party animal but you should really get out more."

I look at my fork and narrowed my eyes. "I don't know.. Mom the outside is dangerous, bad people are out there.. you know like stranger danger" I explained and kept eating.

"Still Quinn Being outside is good" she said and rolled her eyes.

I sighed and finished eating. "I'm 18 mom, I can make my own choices." My mom looked at me. "Whatever you say amore mio"

I smiled and got my bowl then hers and quickly did the dishes so I could get back to reading.

Once I was done, I gave my mom a kiss on the cheek and ran upstairs. "Finally my beautiful books" I smiled.

I need snacks to read though. I guess I'm actually gonna go out then. I was already wearing a pair of sweats and a crop top, plus it's summer so all I need is my shoes.

I slipped on a pair of my shoes and grabbed my keys then ran down. "Mom! I'm going to the store for some snacks" I said and walked to the door.

"stai attento quinn!" I heard my mom yell back. "Andrà bene!" I said and ran out. I hummed and opened my car and got in.

I love driving so there's a bonus. I started my car and drove off. My dad never let me drive cause he thinks I'd crash or something but he's away cause he's in the army so he can't really have a say. I smiled cheekly to myself.

The store wasn't so far away, maybe around 10 minutes I would say? Anyways, it didn't take me long to get here.

I got out of my car and made sure to lock it. I always loved the store to be honest cause there's food. I love food..

I ran in and went to where the snacks would be. I didn't know what to get so I just grabbed a bunch of random things and went to go pay.

After I paid, I thanked the cashier and left.

I hummed and started walking to my car before I bumped into someone. I almost dropped my bags but I caught them before they could fall.

"I'm sorry I wasn't watching where I was going-" I apologized and looked up at the person I bumped into.

It was a very attractive woman. She had dark brown hair, and Carmel like skin.. her eyes were light brown mixed with some green, her jawline was perfect, her lips were plump and kissable.

She had on a pair of sneakers, and she was wearing a white t-shirt with a fancy looking jacket over it, and a pair of jeans. She was really well dressed if you ask me.

"Are you done staring now?" She laughed a little. Her laugh was pretty.

I quickly nodded and mentally slapped myself. I get gay panics around hot woman.

"What's you're name?" She tilted her head.

I looked at her and gave a light smile. "Quinn.. what's yours?" I asked curiously. 

"Vera.. Nice to meet you Quinn" she smiled.

I smiled back. "You too. Look I have to get going so maybe I will see you around?"

She nodded. "Yeah great"

I walked away and looked back to her looking at me. I blushed and put my bags away and got into my car.
