Chapter 6: Short Night

A/N; Regarding the announced DLC some time ago, It shouldn't have much effect on the story regardless if it is canon or not. But I will treat it like the other endings, where it is alluded to but not properly addressed in it when it is released. 

The tension was near suffocating, the silence was dreadful and almost terrifying. What could be heard was slow breathing and the start of whistling wind outside the vehicle. Maybe even a distance caw of a bird. It created an uneasy aura that induced anxiety and worry. It was enough to think it was an agreement to stay that way, take in what had happened in the eighteen hours. It almost felt like a lucid nightmare, but despite the wish that was the case, the reality was hitting with full force now.

Gregory kept his head down, eyes showing a mixture of emotions that twisted with his frown. Perhaps anger with sadness, but what lingered was a wicked form of envy that couldn't be detected to something specific. A soft yellow glow illuminated the watch, making him aware of The Blob's location for the most part. Gazing back briefly to see the burned animatronic curled up on the back seats with its head out of few but the light of its eyes was still visible. The boy faced forward before he leaned back in the seat and placed his arms on his knees.

A rumbling sound similar to static echoed through his mind, a women's voice called for him - that made him shudder and feel his heart with dread and mind with thoughts. The remembrance of the albino rabbit suit skipping effortlessly after he was unsettling to remember, making a shiver run down his spine. Nerve-wracking to remember getting out of the most and found just to be pursued by her for some time. And how uncanny it was when she got too close, making him feel dizzy and creating the urge to pass out as his heart sank. Gregory could only think of the worse if Vanny had gotten him again, just not grazing his cheek the first time. He knew that she wasn't going to make the mistake of letting him go alive if she was successful. By now, Gregory had guessed Vanny and Vanessa were the same but he would never be completely sure.

Gregory lifted his hand, raising to the Fazwatch and going to the messages, he wanted to check something. He flipped through the messages, ones of complaints and questions regarding some designs or entertainment. He looked surprised for a moment as he found what he was looking for very quickly through the names of the messages.

Interview Notes - As requested, here are my notes on today's Chief Security Officer interview. While Vanessa seemed eager and bright, she doesn't appear to have any relevant background experience. I realize the recommendation came from the top, but we need someone who has run security for a faculty of this scale. I do not recommend her for this position.

He found it strange and was very wary of the wording and information it held. Gregory wouldn't have described the guard as bright with how much he knew of her. Perhaps it was due to trying to do her work but something still felt off and uneasy. He could feel tension and edge at the end of her voice that wasn't friendly. And how Vannessa was a higher-up recommendation without having any background experience was weird he guessed, going by the notes. Gregory wasn't too familiar with hiring but had an important idea.

A part of him wanted to ask about it, but as he faced the Glamrock he turned back almost immediately. Remembering the bear was on the low battery once again and was turned off to conserve til the next morning. Glamrock Freddy had instructed him not to go out in the dark even with his flashlight until they had a better idea of the area and what was in the forest. Even telling The Blob to stop him if he goes out. It felt controlling but attempted to understand this one, Gregory supposed he had a point. He could only do so much with one arm being injured and having no ideas of self-defense outside of makeshift weapons like he's been using.
