Unknown POV
She lay on the floor covered in a crimson liquid the monster was laughing in the corner. I grabbed him and looked into a pair of eyes....My own eyes.
"Luke?"
"Jai! My twin! My brother! My Blood!" He hugged me. I punched him.
He stood up and regain his balance he looked lost...as if I knocked something out of him something that was living in him...pure blood evil.
"Your my bloodline, We're family! How could you?!" He screams.
"I don't know. I can love her more than you!" I fired back.
"You betrayed me."
"Im done."
"Leave."
"Fine."
"GOODBYE!" The door slammed and that was when I knew I made the biggest mistake that I would soon regret. I walked over to the bleeding body, I held her. She looked at me. her voice cracked and was faint. but every word she said to me pierced my heart.
"You did this to me, you broke us up, YOU.....I......honestly.......loved......you.....and......you......rape......and....stab......me..........to my death.....Luke.....Fix.....this.....plea-"
Her breathing stopped. I left her there and went after Jai. I found him in a park on a swing set, he saw me coming and darted off into the nearby woods. That was the last time I saw my brother.
*Present Time*
"Daddy, are we going to see uncle Jye?" My daughter climbed into my lap as I sat reading the newspaper. I chuckled hearing her say Jai's name and then realized we would never really get back to normal.
"No, we are not." I said firmly she frowned and crawled off and went to her twin brother I named them Alex and Jai. my wife her name was Minnie...she was small and fragile like Alex was...She never found out about that part of my life no one knows Jai and I we don't talk, he has his life and his kids. I have my life and my kids.....and we both hold a long kept secret of a girl who still haunts our every dream just by saying "Luke" or "Jai"
I will never forgive myself doing what I did as a teenager never ever.
Jai's POV
The past haunts my every awakening moment and every sleepless night. some times as I stare out of the window....I can see her face and her walking by herself holding a sign that reads: "Betrayed by my Brother." a memory and a face I won't ever forget.
