haha, writing this whilst I actually have motivation. This might come out, I guess I'll figure that out in the end. Anyways, enjoy! :)

Levi sat in his bed, staring at the tv though the screen blinded him flash after flash. He'd picked up his phone to check the time.

He groaned before reaching towards the tv remote, which was conveniently on the other side of the bed. He tapped the red button. Which turned off the tv.

He lied down, drowning into the thick blankets. Alex liked thick blankets, they were hers aswell.

He flicked the lamp switch off. Not before he'd looked to his side, an empty queen sized bed. Once owned by his bestfriend.

A few thoughts ran across his head. Not really huge ones. Just plain and simple.

He'd always regretted never telling her about his feelings of her. He'd always wished he had one more conversation with her. Not the one filled with hatred, their last conversation was their worst. An argument.

He'd always regretted arguing with her that day, if he hadn't she wouldn't have stormed out.

She wouldn't have gotten in that car crash.

It was his fault.

He needed one more conversation with her. The counselling and pills were never enough. Not enough to keep himself from crying himself to sleep at night.

He was the reason she was dead.

His eyes watered, and his hands formed to fists.

Not tonight.

He shut his eyes, trying to fall asleep. Couldn't he have one night, just one, that wasn't like this.

Just like that, a vibration came from his night stand. He'd looked over, picking up his phone, it was a phone call.

Unknown Caller

Levi hesitated, should he answer or? A feeling arose from his chest. Pick it up.

Levi swiped, picking up the call.

"Oh my god Levi you picked up! Finally" a girl spoke.

Levi's heart sank, and the feeling in his face ran cold.

"I- say that again" Levi said.

"hey levi? Are you okay? You sound kinda freaked out!" The girl asked.

The charm in her voice sent Levi two feelings.

Butterflies and chills.

This couldn't be. Or could it? Surely he's just insane.

A small smile formed on his face. "Alex?" He asked.

Alex laughed. "uhhh yeah, Levi you're kinda scaring me now".

"I'm sorry, I just- I need a second to think" Levi replied.

"Oh okay that's fine, I can call you back after if you'd like!" She offered.

Something told him no.

"No. Please don't end the call, just give me a second please" Levi answered.

Something didn't sit right with him.

Did he fall asleep? He's dreaming, he knows it.

He flicked on the lamp. Reality came flooding back into mind. He looked down at his hands, five fingers. Is this real?

"Anyways, I was wondering if you wanted to come check out the new sushi place downtown with the squad and I? we're going on Thursday if you're interested" Alex asked.
