Wind+ Ice = Love

The sun was shining just like it always does in Mondstadt, with the wind blowing past the shops as they open up for the day. Sucrose was on her way to the laboratory carrying a very fragile experiment in her sachet, which she was excited to show Albedo what she had created. But she was already running late to work and might miss the opportunity to finally show him. So, scurrying as quickly as she can while also trying very hard not to bump into anyone on her way there. She was only a few meters away from the laboratory, when Guy came speeding out of nowhere and bumped poor Sucrose on the concrete. Sucrose came crashing to the ground, so close to squishing the sachet on her and ruining all her hard work.

"Oh no!" Guy said, "I'm so so so sorry. I didn't see where I was going, it's just that I saw that the usual camp of hilichurls near the bridge has migrated closer towards the city. They might eventually move closer and closer until they start to harm the citizens. So, I panicked and ran all the way here in hopes that the Acting Grand Master will know what to do. In my panic I, of course, didn't really see where I was going and and..."

Sucrose nods her head and keeping her head low as to not make eye contact with him as he explains his side of the story.

"Here let me help you up," Guy said and reached his hand out, guilty for knocking the poor girl down. Once he helped up Sucrose, he then reached down to pick up her bag to give it back to her.

"Woah! This bag is really heavy. What's inside?" Guy questioned.

"My bag!" Sucrose exclaimed. Her fear spiking even more from this (in her eyes) uncomfortable situation and start to take over her body as she quickly opened her bag to see what had happened to her precious experiment. Sucrose lets out a sigh of relief as she sees the experiment unbothered and still wrapped up in the blankets from earlier this morning. Dusting herself off and mumbling a quiet goodbye as she gets back to her journey to Albedo.

Finally breathing a sigh of relief as she slams the door shut, still flustered about the interaction with Guy. Looking up, there was Albedo, looking at her in confusion from the loud noise that she had just caused. After taking in a few deep breathes, Sucrose walked over to Albedo while also just telling him that she just had a bump in with Guy and how it was nothing to worry about. Her mind switches, almost immediately, into work mode and now all she could think about was showing off her experiment to him.

Kaeya jolted awake from his slumber. He was disoriented, covered in drool, and his back as hurting from his slouching position on the chair. Kaeya soon realized that he fell asleep working until morning...again. This has started to become a regular routine for him: waking up in his office, getting assigned more paperwork to add onto yesterday's pile (which hasn't been finished yet), working on that until late at night, and just passing out on his desk from all the exhaustion. Only for the same thing to happen all over again the next day. To say it wasn't draining him would be a big fat lie and no matter how hard he tried, it was also showing up on his face.

So, when he finally walked into Jean's office to get his next mountain of work for the day, Lisa who was talking to Jean at the moment, took one look at him and sent him straight home to have the week off. Of course, this confused him a lot since he wasn't really used to taking breaks but orders from Lisa were basically orders from Jean. So off he was going back home to get some decent sleep and a new change of clothes cause he stunk!
