Ashton POV:

*FLASHBACK*

Fuckk I'm late! First Vixen throws up on my brand new leather jacket, and then this jackass wants to pick a fight. What else could happen today...?

*CRASH*

Of course, I just had to bump into the prettiest girl at the worst time. Her golden skin tone, defined jawline, and luscious lips. Get yourself together, Ashton! You don't even know the girl.

"Whoa, you okay there, sweetheart?" I say, trying to snap her out of her daydream.

"First of all, I'm not your sweetheart, and second, I'm okay, just lost. Sorry for running into you, by the way." I say to him in a frustrated tone.

"Nah, it's fine. But anyway, do you need help finding your class?" He says.

"Yea, I need help finding my class. I'm lost, so what do you think?" I replied to him, annoyed.

She genuinely wants me to teach her a lesson. Well, if she wants one, she'll get one. I push her against the locker and place my right hand on her neck while staring into her ocean-blue eyes. Just enough to get her flustered.

"Well, for one, theres no need to get feisty. I was only trying to offer my help, and two, watch your tone with me... because I can assure you, "Sweetheart", I am not a patient person, and three, I'll call you "Sweetheart" whenever I'd like." I say while eyeing her up and down before letting go so no one sees us.

"Now that's settled... What's the classroom number?" I ask as if the current events didn't just happen.

"I-It's u-uhh D13..." She says.

"Oh, cool. You can follow me then since we both have Mrs. Viotto." I reply with a wink. I stared at her and noticed she was still in shock. Except the reaction on her face was so funny that I couldn't help but laugh.

"W-Why are you staring at me? What's so funny?! She asked, confused by my laughter.

"You. Your facial expression was funny. Did I startle you that much?" I asked, concerned.

"I mean kinda, yes. You did push me against the locker, you know. Which was surprisingly hot." She says and starts to laugh.

"You know, I wouldn't have done it if you didn't use that tone with me. But now, after hearing you say you found it attractive. I could always do it again,  Including some other things, if you'd like." He said while smirking at me. I start imagining him kissing my neck.

"Okay tough guy, I think I'm good for right now, and we gotta get to class," I say as I try to stop the dirty thoughts going through my head.

I chuckle and reply, "It's Ashton. And you?"

"Rosevelt Harper, but you can just call me Rose," she says.

*RINGGGGGGGG!!!*

The bell trills. As it snaps her out of whatever she was thinking.

"Great, not only did I run into a hot ass guy, but I'm late to class on the first day of school," She says, not realizing she said it out loud.

"Huh, so you think I'm hot? You were the one who brought out the "HOT" word. JUST SAYING!

"Y-Yes, I mean NO! Not that you aren't attractive. I-I mean you are—B-But..." She stutters and starts to blush. I laugh as she tries to say her sentence.

"If you do, then just say so. I don't mind it. You're only boosting my confidence." I say proudly. As I move my hand through my hair, smirking at her.

"Like you need any more confidence," She scoffs.

"So you do think I'm hot?"I say, trying to trick her.

"W-What...? That's not what I said." She responds almost immediately while trying not to blush again.

"But you didn't deny it..." I say.

"I-I... ughh, never mind," She says, submitting to her defeat.

"HA, I KNEW IT! YOU DO FIND ME ATTRACTIVE!"He smirks.

"Fine, yes, I do find you attractive. But there are plenty of other guys who are more attractive than you," She says confidently, probably assuming I won't have anything to say in response. But oh boy, was she wrong.

"I doubt it, you can try all you want to find another guy in this school who's hotter than me, but I'm very doubtful. The guys here are mostly nerds or just emo."I say with no hesitation.

"And what's wrong with being a nerd or emo? What if I find that more attractive than your little playboy act?" She says, catching me off guard.

"Nothing...but based on your attitude and looks, there's no way you'd fall for those types of guys."

"Whatever, just don't make me regret saying you're attractive. If you do, I'll deny I ever said anything at all," Sighing in frustration.

"Fine with me. Now that's settled... We should probably start heading to class before we're even later." He says.

"Sounds like a plan," She says.

Once we get to the classroom, I walk in first and start hugging my friends. But as always...

"Mr. Lopez, late as always, I see." Mrs. Viotto says.

"Sorry, Mrs. V, I was giving our new student a tour," I say while taking my seat.

"Well, are you gonna come in, young lady?" Mrs. Viotto asks Rose.

"O-Oh yeah, sorry about that," She says as she slowly walks inside.

Fortunately, there was only one seat left, which was right next to me. For the remaining of the period, my eyes get lost in hers. Later finding out that Rose had almost all my classes, except for football theory. As lunchtime came upon us, we went our separate ways as I hoped to see her later throughout the week.

*A WEEK LATER*

It's been more than a week since I last talked to Rose. Even when I passed her in the hallways and waved, she didn't wave back. I had at least hoped I'd get to talk to her, especially since we had the same classes. But alas, that wasn't the case. It's almost as if she's trying to avoid me. Well, if she is trying to avoid me. It's not going to last very long.

Rose POV:

It's been a week already, and surprisingly avoiding Ashton wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Aside from seeing each other in class, it was pretty simple. He did his things with his friends, and I did the same with mine. Camila has been helpful when it comes to preparing what to say. Just in case I have to interact with Ashton. Speak of the devil...

"Rose, what a pleasant surprise. Not late again, are you? Or rather bumping into others." He says with a smirk on his face.

"No, and actually, it's more of other people bumping into me," I reply as I flick my hair in his face and walk away.

When all of a sudden... I feel someone tug at my arm, pulling me into a familiar set of surfaces. Of course, as I look up, I see him...

"WHAT THE FUCK! ASHTON, LET ME GO!" I yelled at him, mad at the fact that he pulled me into his arms.

"Now, why would I do that... sweetheart?" He says with a grin.

"Because I said so." I huff in frustration as I try to get out of his grip.

"I don't like the tone you used in that sentence care to apologize? Then maybe I'll consider letting you go." He says.

"Fine, I'm sorry," I say, waiting for this situation to end.

"Sorry for...?"

"I'm sorry for using a disrespectful tone towards you. There, you happy now." I said still annoyed.

"Yes, very." He says.
