Up in flower fruit mountain laid a Golden monkey
Not just any monkey tho.
THE GREAT SAGE EQUAL TO HEAVEN!-
Oh what's this? Rain? It's not usual to have rain at the mountain! Which means a familiar monkey , Is low key kinda scared of rain-... (yeah a headcannon he is scared of water or like hates to touch water ) anyways that's the summary of this one shot let's gooo-

"Eek!" Swk squeaked at the sudden realization that water droplets are falling from the sky , " Oh no..Oh my goodness.." The monkey king panicked , You see he is nowhere nearby his little cabin , he is at the opposite side of the mountain where it's more dead and less monkeys go there , It's also gets dark easily , Which frighten the monkey king , He heard lots of weird stuff in this side of the mountain so he came to check it out , and now this is where he got himself into . The monkey fell down to the ground and cover himself in his knees , He was very scared , every drop of rain landed on him , he'd flinch , or yelp , he was completely hopeless , "Tsk,Tsk,Tsk , Still afraid of water , Wukong?" Monkey king heard this , From behind him , he turned around to see the shadow of a familiar monk-OHMYGOD - "M-Macaque?.."  Swk didn't even try to attack , He felt weak ( He also didn't wanted to be expose by the rain) "The one and only. say..What are you doing here, with your whimpering..?" Macaque asked , Exposing himself from his shadow , he tilt his head waiting for a response.
"Uhm..I-I heard there was something weird going on here , So I came to check it out.." Swk said in a soft tone , Still scared of the rain , he came closer to the tree he was behind , trying to hide from the rain
He could feel macaque's warmth , his made him a little calm , Macaque took notice and so he fully came out of his shadow and lifted wukong , on his lap .

(you can imagine it anyway way you want lol)

To this point wukong could hear macaque's heartbeat , " W-what are you doing?.." Wukong asked in a soft tone , "cuddling." Macaque said with no hesitation, Wukong didn't bother to say anything, Instead he adjusted himself in a comfortable position and leaned his head on macaque's shoulder , he felt calmer as if the nothing happened, no rain. No dark.no ..no incident..
"I-I'm sorry ... I'm sorry for all the stuff i did to you..I'm so sorry.." Wukong struggled to say , fidgeting with his tail , Macaque's response was to hold wukong closer and wrap him around himself with his tail , "shut up , Wukong , I forgive you , Now sleep." Macaque whispered , Wukong smiled .

A true smile.

Wukong drifted to sleep , So did macaque .
They listen to the rain, Wukong was not so scared now , He felt safe .

In his lovers arms . 💜💛
