"Jungwon-ah." She whispers as soon as their eyes meet.
"Hey." He says softly.
"How are you?" She asks. He makes his way to the uncomfortable chair closest to her bed. He doesn't care that the chair is hard and uncomfortable, as long as she's with him he will always be comfortable.
"I've been better, you?" He asks generally concerned.
She stays silent, not knowing how to respond. So many words run through her mind, but not one comes out of her mouth.
She attempts to sit up but is stopped by a very violent cough that shakes her entire body.
He reaches for the glass of water near her, when he notices the bright red stain on her fingers. Her b l o o d.
He rushes out to get help.
