The wall stared back at you as your gaze remained on the large, clean cut you had placed upon it, a crimson bichone spinning slowly behind your shoulder as though it was a wing. One of your teammates from FUG bowed to you, "Nice to meet you, Lady [Last name]. I'm Reflejo, a fisherman who will serve you from now."

He rose, "How do you like it? The power of the thorn we got you?"

You hummed pensively, placing a hand on your chin, "For a thorn, it's rather lackluster. And Karaka's your master, yes? Why are you serving me so suddenly?"

When silence became your response, you let out a humm, "Mm, I won't press any further but you can't expect my cooperation while ignoring yours."

With that you left without another word, walking away from Reflejo as he spoke, "Lady [Last name]. I sincerely apologize for forcibly bringing you here."

You turned over your shoulder, a blank expression on your face, ". . . I suggest that everyone should focus on the next test."

Jue Viole Grace is the 25th Baam— and thus your lighthouse flickered off, lodged in between the rubble of the explosion. Khun stared at the crying brunet next to him, azure eyes flickering to the familiar fallen [color] lighthouse then the slayer nominee, his breath bated as a signle word left his lips, ". . . Baam. . .?"

Viole stood, his cloak hiding his shivering limbs, veil of hair covering his glossy eyes. Khun continued, his legs frozen in place, ". . . That means the lady was [Name]. . . right?"

"I mean what I said. I am Jue Viole Grace. Hope that we never cross paths again, Khun Aguero Agnes." Viole turned and walked away, dark hair flying amidst the unforgiving night. Khun blinked, staring at the slayer nominee's back before an amused smirk painted his face, ". . . No way. You two resemble my dead friends too much, and that lady must've gotten the both of us out for a reason."

". . . [Name] wants us to reunite anyways, why do you think she'd place you and I here together behind their backs?"

Thusly Viole began shaking, eyes glossy amidst the fake night sky that watched as the two friends met once more.

"E-rank regular news. Arlen's Hand, which is in the 28th floor regulars' area, blew up. And many regulars nearby were killed or injured. Additionally, the regulars who rented the floating ship nearby are presumbed to be dead." Shibisu watched with a scowl as Khun's name flashed across the screen, declaring him deceased as images of what was once Arlen's Hand was displayed on the television. "A symbol of the FUG's slayer nominee was found under the rubble of the hand with a message saying: This sacrifice is for the birth of a new slayer."

"This is interpreted as a warning message, from the slayer nominee, who seems to have returned from her absence, Dragonhier to all regulars entering the workshop battle."

You kicked your feet, droplets of water spraying away onto the water's surface as you sat by the edge of the small private pool. In your hands was a light novel, each sentence carefully and meticulously constructed to display the incredible tale of 13 friends.

"Hey, [Last name]."

You turned over your shoulder, placing your volume back into your lighthouse. Thus you met Novick, Ran and Reflejo behind you. Novick pointed down onto his feet, "Can you tell iron mask to take off these footcuffs? We're not criminals, it's hard to move around."

"Shouldn't you trust your teammates?" Novick asked Reflejo who sneered, "Trust you? You should thank Ms. [Last name] that you're still alive."

"It'll be so easy to fight at the battle like this, won't it?" Novick retorted.
