[Season 2] Chapter 41 - The Abysmal Region

The moment you entered the castle, an overflowing amount of choas greeted you. Servants ran and ran for their lives, screaming frantically like a roaring stream as Baam emerged from the shinsu that had gushed out of the secret pathway behind you, "What's going on. . .?"

"They must be very scared because intruders who can defeat them have appeared." Baam nodded to your words. De Lee cleared his throat- "This us actually good for us. Now, let's decide ourselves into teams."

"You. . .!!" A snake-like, masked servant with a pair of arms and no legs appeared. De Lee turned to the servant, recognition flashing upon his face, "Fabregas!?"

Gently, you spoke to the brunet, "Baam."

He gave you a curt nod, forming a familiar shinsu sphere in his hand, "On it."

And in an instant flash, just as Fabregas' tail was approaching rapidly to attack, Baam shot the sphere through the servant's torso, the body fading into dust.

"Let's go!"

De Lee gaped, "You. . . You killed him!"

"T-this can't be. . ." Mata stuttered, eyebrows furrowed together, "Did you see that, Hockney?"

"Yeah. . ."

"A-amazing!! You broke the immortality spell!! This is. . .!!" De Lee moved closer to Baam, holding up a fist. Baam blinked, "What. . .?"

"Huh!?" He waved his arms in front of him, shaking his head, "You mean that person before was immortal!?"

"Thay's right! But even out immortality is no match for your power! I feel like there's finally hope!" De Lee exclaimed, then bowing from his knees with his forehead against the floor, "Thank you!! Thank you for coming here!! Savior!!"

"Y-you don't need to now to me!!" You shook your head when Baam looked at you for help, smiling wryly as Rachel sighed, "Just let him."

"We'll go and save De Sah now! Sir, please defeat Hell Joe. . .!" De Lee begged, rising to his feet. You hummed, "You should relocate with my comrades, the only other regulars here, first. They will be of assistance. I expect you to fully comply with their mission."

"Okay!!"

"Let's head out!!"

"Yeah!"

You dashed away in a flash, Baam, Hockney and Mata behind you. Eyes from which the depths peeked out drfited over to the upcoming horde of servants- you outstretched your hand and they dissolved into luminescent bubbles.

More chaos erupted.

"There." You spoke after a few more second of running, finding a open window to climb out of, "We'll jump from there. It'll take too long if we use the entrance and there are too many servants around. I'd like to minimize the casualties."

"What!?" Mata shouted as Baam jumped up onto the window, creating his usual blue shield under him.

"Wait!" Hockney shouted, "Joe controls the shinsu in South City. It's too dangerous to use shinsu to fly over there!"

Mata glanced over at the giant winged leech that had just appeared from the corner, "Let's use this thing!"

"Hockney, Mata, I'm rather reluctant to have you two in the front lines so please communicate with us through this prototype." You handed them two earpieces the color of pearls and corals, one for each of them before clutching another in your hand, "Think of it as a communication device, nothing more, nothing less."

You didn't waste another second to get onto a platform of your own, Baam joining you to speed to Garam, Yuri, who was still under the curse, and Hell Joe in the midst of battle in the air, whilst the other two lagged behind on the leech.
