Hitting the harsh, wet gravel ground below her, Y/N scraped her knees and hands. "Son of a bitch."
Standing to her feet, she looked around seeing nobody with her. No voices, no Five, no Klaus, none of the Hargreeves.
"Guys? Five? Klaus? Anyone there?" She yelled, spinning around herself in confusion and worry.
"Fuck."
Walking out of the small ally way, she saw old cars passing by the street, old looking shops with antiques in them. "Where the hell am I?" She stumbled around, trying to find a date, a newspaper, anything.
Her eyes landed on another old shop with a newspaper visible from the window.
"September 2nd," She read, pausing before the next 4 numbers. "1963. Shit." She looked around at the empty, closed shops. It was late at night, what the hell was she going to do? No place to stay, no where to go, no family, no one. "Damn it." Those werent antiques in the store they were just normal objects.
She walked back to the ally, seeing only one place that had people going in and out of it. There was loud music and bright lights. Bartenders wanted! Read a sign in front of the entrance.
Opening the door, she saw dancers up on stage, waitresses wearing fringe, and lots of men sitting and watching, chatting etc:
Is this is a strip club? Burlesque? What the hell...
Walking through to find the bar, she earned strange looks, and muttering when she walked by. Her uniform and face were covered in dried blood from a few minutes earlier.
"Shit.." She walked up to the bartender, earning a strange look from the girl.
"Can I help you?" The woman asked, looking her up and down. "Yeah... can I get a neat glass of crown please?" She sat herself at the bar.
"Arent you a bit young for alcohol?"
"No." She watched the woman pour her glass, setting it in front of her.Taking small sips, Y/N examined her disgusting clothes. "By any chance do you have a spare change of clothes... and maybe a shower?" She gulped her drink down, waiting for a response.
"The only clothes I have are clothes for workers here..." The woman grabbed her tray of drinks, about to walk off. "I saw your hiring sign outside for a bartender, I can do the job, help you out! I know how to make a drink!" She stated making the woman silently sigh. "Dont make me regret this smalls. The hallway down there, last door on the left is my room. You should be able to find something to wear, id say were about the same size." The woman smiled lightly before handing out drinks. "Thank you."
The room was small, but had a small shower and a closet full of clothes that looked like flapper girl costumes, lots of sequins and fringe. It looked like something Y/N would see in a halloween store. What have I gotten myself into.
As she stepped into the shower, watching the red stained water seep into the drain. The shampoo and body wash cleaned her from the dried blood.
As she dried off, wrapping herself in the white towel, she looked through the closet picking out a gold and black outfit. The floor of the closet had many pairs of heels and accessories. "Shit."
;
The outfit fit almost perfectly, shaping her figure nicely. Though it was itchy, she was just glad to be out of that horrid uniform, that she had washed out in the shower, and hung up to dry.
The heels were also surprisingly easy to walk in. The heel wasnt too big and they fit nicely. Y/N looked... nice. Clean.
Handing out drinks and making them also wasnt too hard, as she became fond of the costumers orders in no time. It was quite easy because they ordered the same things almost every night.
;
The woman that she worked with was Julie Green, and she was very generous towards Y/N. Letting her stay at her place, and continuing to let her work at the club. Julie lended Y/N casual clothes, and even went out to buy some more appropriate clothes for the time period.
Y/N never mentioned the Hargreeeves. She asked about Klaus once but Julie had no clue. Y/N also asked about Five, describing his looks to Julie, who said she'd never seen him, but'll keep a lookout just incase he does show up anytime soon.
A month went by with no sign of any of the Hargreeves, and Y/N started to loose hope. Hope of which they would ever see each other again, hope that she would find Five. And eventually, she just gave up, trying to adjust to her new life in a whole different timeline.
September and October went by slowly, still no sign of anyone, and still no sign of Five.
Y/N started to think that they all got scattered out across different timelines, never to see each other until one is dying of old age and one is they're normal age.
;
It was November, Y/N had become a crowd favorite bartender. She was polite and always had their drinks out fast, not to mention the costumers thought she quite a sight for sore eyes. Her costumes were always so fitting and beautiful on her.
As Y/N walked to get a tray for her drinks, she saw a table with 2 people she hadnt recognized from the back. Quickly rushing over to the table she asked standing behind the two, "Can I get you two anything?" She smiled unable to see their faces from her position.
As the two turned to her, all 3 froze.
"Y/N?" The two said in unison.
The girl now feeling dizzy, and unreal, fell back, fainting.
