jasmine was heartbroken to say the least. she was devastated. her boyfriend. the love of her life. eddie munson, one of her favorite characters had died.
she was sitting in chris's bed, comforted by his arms, her face buried in the crook of his neck as he patted her back.
"HES GONE!" jasmine wailed louder, more tears spilling from her eyes.
"shhh i know jaz, i know, it's okay" he parts her back.
"NO" she wails harder, thumps in her head getting louder and stronger.
"come on let's get you showered" he says getting himself, and her, off the bed.
"okay" she sniffles, shaking while she moves.
she placed a foot on the ground, immediately feeling dizzy. she grabs onto chris for support. as they're walking to the bathroom, jasmine feels dizzier and dizzier, head getting heavier, and feeling her tongue pound in her mouth.
jasmine quickly plummets to the ground unconscious and everything goes black.
"she'll be okay there's no need to worry that much, she should be waking up soon" jasmine hears a doctor speak.
"huh? what's happening?" jasmine wakes up, confused as heck.
"oh my god! thank goodness you're okay!" chris says, immediately moving from his chair next to her bed to hug her.
"okay chris i'm fine, what's going on?" jasmine questions again.
"well, um sweetie, you and chris were walking to the bathroom, and you fainted" mary-lou explains with a hand on her heart.
"oh" jasmine breaths out.
"i didn't know what to do! so i rushed you to the hospital and called matt and nick to come back from the mall supermarket." chris held jasmines hand, back in his original spot in his chair.
jasmine smiled. a genuine smile. he was worried about her.
"well, the blood test came back" a male-nurse comes in with a clipboard.
"well?" jimmy speaks up worriedly.
"uh, she has anemia." the nurse talks again, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.
"oh" jazzy breaths out again.
"well what do we do?" chris asks, "is she gonna be okay? what's anemia? is it deadly? IS SHE GONNA DIE?" he screams out.
"calm down, shes fine, she just needs to eat more food that contains iron." the doctor says calmly.
"like red meat, spinach, pumpkin seeds etc." the nurse buds in.
"well she can be discharged as soon as you want." the doctor nods and leaves the room.
"how are you jello?" jasmines dad, daniel, walks into the sturniolo house-hold, leaving work early to see his daughter.
"hey dad, you really didn't have to come in from work early" jasmine lets out a breathy laugh.
"ofcourse i did" he hugs jasmine, both sitting on the couch.
"i heard you have anemia, how you feeling?" he speaks up again.
"normal" she smiles softly.
"chris" daniel spoke after a couple moments of silence.
"u-uh yeah?" chris steps forward.
chris was always intimidated by daniel, the man was very protective of jasmine, but so was chris.
"thank you, son" daniel patted chris's shoulder.
"for what?" chris was genuinely confused.
"for making the right choice" the older man spoke again. giving chris a small smile.
chris gained some comfort from this approving smile. it's like that simple smile gave him the validation he needed of being jasmines friend. well, best friend. or maybe best friend who's deeply in love with her is a better term.
"oh uh, yeah, i just wanted her to be safe" chris nervously chuckled.
"dad stop, you're intimidating him." jasmine laughed from the couch behind them.
"i am not!" daniel sarcastically says, being over dramatic.
