matthew stood in front of juliette with an extended hand, his blue eyes meeting hers. "care to dance," he asked with a smile, watching as juliette grabbed his hand.
"why of course," she responded, getting pulled to her feet by the boy.
the two made their way to the center of the floor, pushing past everyone. daniel caesar's blessed began to play, and the duo moved softly with the music. it was as if they were noah and allie, dancing in the middle of the street in the notebook. juliette had her head rested on matt's shoulder, while his hands were holding hers.
juliette had her eyes closed as she took the moment in, feeling as if time had stopped for them. matthew's face carried a smile and a small blush, as he held juliette in his arms. he could feel the eyes of everyone in the room looking at them, but for once he didn't mind.
his only thought was her. it was always her.
nick, chris, and malachi exchanged glances, while penelope and juniper watched juliette. the group collectively shared a look, each of them opening their cellphones to their secret group chat.
