"Hey Michi, you up?"
Yeah I'm up. I say with clear disdain in my voice. Do I have to get up? I asked with an irritated tone. I couldn't even think of going back to bed before I had gotten a response. "Boy if you try to go back to bed so help me God!"

Tempting fate, I decided to go back to bed. Pushing my luck way farther than I knew I could. Just like she said it happened. Like God was helping her, my mother pulled me out of bed with the strength of a. I got ready for a normal day in Del Paradiso Le.

I didn't know how today out of all days would have changed my life. I walked through the doors of Bootless Elementary with my head faced parallel with the floor. I walk to my classroom in the first grade hallway. Oddly it was one of three hallways that had new light bulbs. The day persided to go through the normal until recess came around. As I was heading to recess I noticed something in the corner of my eye.

It was a girl the same age as I was, and she wasn't alone. There were two other kids, a boy and a girl. They were ten feet away from me. In the back of the stairwell so they wouldn't get caught.
"Hey Una-tantum, she can't summon a kokoro-kara!" chuckling to himself

"What , you mean like this?" as he summons his long barbaric mace.
"Yeah that!" she said with a wide smirk from ear to ear formed on her face.

Almost everyone here has a kokoro-kara. A kokoro-kara is a weapon a user can summon from the truest and deepest part of the user's soul.
"Ha, imagen not being able to summon a kokoro-kara". My mother's words washed over me in my head as I heard this.
"Michi, always do the right thing no matter what".

And a switch was flipped, my body sprung into action. Before I knew it, I was in front of the girl they were bullying. "LEAVE HER ALONE!" Those were the words that snarled out of my mouth.
"And what are you going to do noodle arms?" the older one retorted with an even more devilish look on her face. She noods and to the other one. Signaling a go ahead. I look at the accomplice. His mace is behind his head and he thrusts his arm down.

As he thrust his arm down my eyes were filled with a golden light. I waited for the mace to make contact with my skull, but it didn't. I heard a sound save me from his devastating blow. That was the sound of metal clashing against metal that saved me. I look up to see a beautiful silver sword in my hand.

In the center of the center of the crossguard was a gem in the shape of a small seed. The boy was taken aback by this development along with the rest of us. With a slight increase to my confidence I got up off my knees and stood my ground. I wonder why there aren't any teachers stopping this. Bullying is one thing, but this was basically assault at this point.

The boy goes for another swing. I tried to raise my sword to block it, but my reflexes weren't fast enough. I block most of the attack and get sent straight to the ground. Smacking my face on the floor. I got up once again, and he swung again. And I got up yet again then he swung again, and again, and again. As I just continue to get back up.

After ten minutes of me getting knocked off my feet and getting back up a shield interpolated between me and the unrelenting rage of the mace. Finally, a teacher showed up to stop this from getting worse. The teacher looked at me and the girl who was being bullied before looking at the bullies. He then glared back to us to calm us down and assure us we would be fine.
"Hey, you guys will be alright okay". He said in a calming tone.

We then looked up to see the scariest teacher we've seen in the school right behind the bullies. You could feel a raging fiery heat emitting from her. She then proceeded to pick them up as if they were just her groceries. She started dragging them down the hall to the principal's office. The other teacher returned his shield and swiftly turned to meet our awed faces.

He smiled for just a moment before his face went cold. "Young girl, do you mind taking him to the nurse's office?" Pointing to me as he spoke. The girl shook her head to single as a yes. "Alright, thank you now excuse me I have to make a phone call". The girl put her arm around me and we embarked to the nurse's office.

After a slow and agonizing trip to the nurse's office we finally arrived. We entered the door and the nurse immediately shot up from her desk and ran to my side. Getting on one knee she grabs my face turning side to side examining my face. She turned to the other girl, seeing the bruises that were becoming apparent before giving a frown.

"You, get him on the bed and then go sit in a chair!" She yelled in a demanding yet worried tone. The nurse sprints to her desk ravaging the drawers for the right supplies. As the girl who helped me get here helped me on the bed I mustered the last of my strength to speak.
"Thank you for helping me get here". I say as I start to fall asleep.

I wake gasping for air! I've been dreaming about that day more and more recently. It's truly strange though, I have had tests done and I should be able to dream. Due to my subconscious operating on a lower level than a normal brain. Leaving me filled with questions about it. For example, were the tests wrong? Is it a real memory or is it a warning? I don't know and it frustrates me.

My alarm starts to go off after I'm like every morning reminding me of what day it is. Shrugging my thoughts aside I turn off my alarm. I get dressed and get ready for my last two days of school before I graduate. I run down the stairs and charge out the front door to be greeted by my best friend Venni Dalle Ombré.
"Hey Venni, are you ready for these last two days of school?"

He gives me a smile as we start our trek to school.
"I don't know Michi, I don't think I have enough credits to pass". Snickering at his playfully dumb statement.
"Good try but you aren't getting out of it that easily". I tell him chuckling. "We both know your ass has twenty more credits then you need to graduate, you just chose to not take all the mandatory classes last year".

"If I did there would be no one to watch out for you man". teasing that fact that he is a slightly better fighter than me. "Plus I need more credits for my college resume". Giving me a glance like he was a student trying to get the necessary amount of credits to graduate.
"Yeah right come on let's go we're going to be late if you don't hurry".

Off we went running down the streets. Often teasing each other's weaknesses and strengths. Upon first glance you would think we were brothers. Which people find weird since we believe in the same ideals, yet go about completely opposite of each other. Although, at the end of the day we are brothers from different mothers.
