Prologue Before The Next Chapter.

Kazuha POV :

Hello! I'm Kaedehara Kazuha，you may call me Kazuha! I work for a secret association following my mother's (Beidou) footsteps.

In this association there are 4 ranks, 5 if you add a special one for ayaka.

The 4 ranks are the intern level, the co-elite level, the elite level and the captain's level. The special role for ayaka is called the captain's assistant,

Though the boss himself is very...slacked in a way, but he always somehow manages to finish his work before deadline.

Kamisato Ayaka.

Sir Kaedehara, please report to captain Kaeya's office 2.30pm sharp. He says he needs to talk to you and Mdm Beidou.

I looked at the phone screen and wondered if something had came up. No way he would fire me when I just started working at this place like 6 days ago?

Well, it was currently 2.15pm so I still have time before the meeting.

* 2.30pm *

I approached the office door slowly and saw ayaka standing outside, waiting for me.

" Ah! Sir Kaedehara, you've arrived. I believe Captain Kaeya is waiting for you in the office. "

Ayaka then bowed very low and proceeds to open the door for me. I gave a small nod in return for her manners.

I entered the office.

The windows were huge and they were facing the city view, there were many books around and some on the floor for some entire reason I don't know... but everything looked very clean.

And there he was.

Sitting in his chair looking at documents. Beidou was there too, but she didn't seem to bother about Kaeya.

" I see you have arrived, now let's get down to business shall we?

I heard that you have found the target but the main problem is how to gain his trust. "
-kaeya

" What do you intend to do to the target when you catch him? "
-kazuha

" Experiments. "

I know that we hunt for vampires but I didn't know they were used for experiments... for what? I do not know. I know I'm not supposed to feel bad for my target but I can't help it...he is just... too cute... even though he wears a mask and I could not see much of his face except for his eyes.

" Isn't it a bit brutal?... I am unsure what you would do to him but...---"
-Kazuha

" Look, I am sure you read the rules right? ' what ever mission you get, do NOT fall in love with target. ' now, are you breaking that rule? If you are... then I might just likely fire you. No chances~ "
-Kaeya

I know the rules full well, and I just met Scara yesterday... but the feelings I can't hold back.

" Understood... "
-Kazuha
