"Your Majesty, the feast is filled with greasy dishes. I'm afraid Your Majesty might get tired of the greasy food. That's why I've selected some fine chicken livers for this dish. I steamed them after they were seasoned, and condensed them into this liver extract." (Episode 1)

(AN: I couldn't find an exact recipe for this dish, but I found this video on steamed chicken liver. While researching, I came to the conclusion that this recipe is like the video above, but the broth is taken to be served. If I am wrong, mention it in the comments, so I can fix this. Also, I know the video calls for chicken gizzards, but I'm not adding it here.)

Ingredients

     - 2 lbs. of chicken livers

     - 1 tablespoon of goji berries (wolfberries)

     - 1 tablespoon of sliced ginger

     - 1 teaspoon of salt

     - 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of light soy sauce

Directions

1) Clean chicken livers in cold water, and then parboil for 5 minutes.Dry off and put in a large dish.

2) Add goji berries, sliced ginger, salt, and light soy sauce. Mix ingredients well with chopsticks or fork.

3) Heat a pan with water until water boils. Put the dish in the pan and cover it with a lid. Steam cook for 30 minutes or longer if required.

4) Check livers with chopsticks or fork to see if fully cooked. Livers will be fully cooked when they are no longer pink.
