Chapter 5. Painful Memories

Tae took Mew to his dorm after they had dinner together with their friends.

Their friends left Mew to rest. Thanitt and Tee stayed with him for a while as Tae went to take bath before coming to Mew. He said he wanted to talk to him. So Mew was waiting for him.

"Mew. You sure? Did you forget"? Tee was highly worried.

"I am sure Tee. Its not always the same mistake. Also we never got a chance to clear the things between us". Mew leaned his back to the bed head, placing his foot on the pillow. He needed the bandage change.

"But whats the chances that he is changed"? This time Thanitt spoke..

"There can be chances that he didnt change at all. And chances that he is changed. Think of it Thanitt, he proposed me himself. He opted himself to claim me in the public. In front of thousand students. Do you think he can cost his reputation to pull of a show. If he had to hurt me he could have. He didnt need to come to me and apologise. Or taking care of me. What say? Dont we all deserve a second chance". Mew said.

Only then they heard a knock on the door before Tae entered the room.

"Phi the door wasnt locked. Why you need to knock"? Mew was kind of surprised.

"Well i thought you guys must be talking about some important issues. So..". Tae went to Mew's closet to take out his clothes to take bath. He pulled the kit too as Thanitt left the place for him to sit.

"Okay Mew. Okay Phi. Good night then. See you tomorrow". Thanitt bend down to kiss his forehead. Followed by Tee. And they both went outside.

Mew saw Tae bit more serious than usual. Removing the bandage off his foot he was looking for swelling and sighed in relief as he saw it was better than before.

"Hold on. Let me start the shower and place the chair. Then you can go and take bath". Tae came out of the washroom soon. He helped Mew to settle on his chair before helping him to pull of his shirt and exit the washroom.

He was reviewing his assignment when Mew came back.

"Come". He made Mew sit on the bed as he picked up the hair dryer.

"Phi its okay. I like to sleep like this". Mew said only to earn a glare from Tae.

"You know its unhealthy. Sleeping with damp wet hair leads to cold and flue and headaches. Either take bath before 1 hour of sleeping or use this device. Okay? Besides i dont want to catch flue and cold from you". Tae said playfully but Mew didn't get his hidden meaning.

"What you mean Phi. I dont have flue at the moment". He held Tae's wrist to stop drying his hair.

"Well. Not now but since its your habbit, what if you sleep with wet hair and catch flue and i happen to sleep with you.. So". He bit his lower lip and this time the words sink into Mew's mind.

"Jeeeeez Phi. Pervert. Who said i will let you sleep with me huh"? He left Tae's hand to resume his activy. He was enjoying the feeling of soft fingers brushing his scalp.

"Owh. Am hurt Mew. That means i have to take the other of the bed hmmm"? Tae faked a hurt.

"Nope. Not like that. Rather... You will take the couch. Hehhehehe". Mew giggled teasing him and Tae laughed too. He switched off the dryer making sure the silk soft threads are properly dried..

"Phi"... Mew called him who was sitting applying ointment on his foot.

"Yes. I think your foot doesnt need bandage. Ointment and ice bags will do. So what were you saying"? He looked at Mew.
