Unknown Feelings

Amadeus and Alexandra would sleep in the same bed together for the next few years right up to highschool. Alexandra woke up and saw Amadeus curled up on the floor, this wasn't usual considering he would always be on her bed when she wakes up. Alexandra got up and walked over to Amadeus and shook him awake, Amadeus woke up and got up fast knocking stuff over on his way up. Alexandra looked at him confused and asked "How did you end up on the floor?" Amadeus look at her blankly and responded "I don't know, that's never happened before" Alexandra and Amadeus continued on with their morning routine of Amadeus sneaking out of her house without her mom seeing him and Alexandra would take a shower, eat something and brush her teeth. Amadeus would run to his abandoned building to take his rain water shower and brush his teeth with rain water. Instead of rushing to Alexandra's house to walk to school with her, he stopped to look in the mirror he look at his hair wondering if he should cut it a little bit, considering it was almost to the middle of his back. Amadeus took his knife and cut his hair so it only reached down to his shoulders, then bolted out the door to Alexandra's. When he got there she looked at him and said jokingly "Nice hair, looks better now that it's not down to your knees" They ran to school trying not to be late and upon arrival they saw a sign saying "THE SCHOOL IS CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS" and below it there was another sign saying "Party across the street tonight at 9pm" Alexandra grabbed the party sign and told Amadeus "We should go to this and get out, get social" Amadeus responded saying "If I go I'll probably just ruin it" Alexandra said "Fuck that, if people knew you like I do they would realize it wasn't your fault for those deaths, you were a baby for fucks sake" Amadeus asks "How about you go to have fun and I'll go to make sure you don't make irrational mistakes?" Alexandra agreed and they both went to her house until it was time for the party. They left the house at 8:50 to make the ten minute walk to the house. When they walked in they saw almost everyone from their 10th grade classes dancing and drinking, when Alexandra and Amadeus walked in everyone stopped and look at them for a good minute until someone yelled "Alexandra, her bitch ass friend, come on in!" They walked in and everyone continued partying. Amadeus felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave instantly but instead Alexandra grabbed his hand and led him upstairs to a room where there were 6 of Alexandra's friends. On the ground there was a cardboard box and a beer bottle placed evenly for everyone to sit around. Alexandra sat across from Amadeus while he sat next to two people from his workshop class. One of the kids said "Alright the game is spin the bottle and whoever gets picked has to go into the closet for 5 with each other, no rules attached" Amadeus looked at Alexandra with a look that screamed irritational decision. One of the girls asked "How should we play?" Amadeus said "We could draw straws?" Alexandra and one of the workshop kids agreed. They all drew straws and of course Amadeus got the shortest. He spun the bottle and it landed on one of the girls from Alexandra's classes. Amadeus looked at Alexandra and noticed she had a jealous look on her face. Amadeus and the girl both walked into the closet and someone closed the door locking it from the outside. She looked at Amadeus who sat on the floor waiting for the 5 minutes to pass considering she didn't want to be in there either. After the 5 minutes passed someone opened the door and everyone looked to see if they did anything and they were both sitting there. One kid said quietly "Boringgg" Amadeus and the girl sat back down and, They drew straws again this time One of the workshop kids got the shortest. He spun the bottle and it landed on Alexandra, Amadeus flinched at the fact and almost stood up to leave with her. Alexandra stood up and grabbed Amadeus' hand and pulled him into the closet, before the kid had time to react someone had already closed the door and locked it. Alexandra looked at Amadeus shocker that she pulled it off and said "Sorry but I would've thrown up with him in here" Amadeus looked at Alexandra with awe feeling a way he had never felt, he's slept in a bed with her for years but this time it was different. Alexandra said "Stop looking at me like that" Amadeus approached her slowly grabbing her by the waist. Alexandra snapped and said quietly "Amadeus what are you doing!?" He told her "I think I'm gonna kiss you" Alexandra said "Well if your gonna kiss a girl don't say your gonna just do it" Amadeus kissed her and felt like the world was his, Alexandra felt the same way. When they opened the door they saw Amadeus and Alexandra sitting on the floor acting like nothing happened. Amadeus asked her "Well since I failed my one job, do you wanna get out of here?" Alexandra didn't respond she just grabbed his hand and walked with him out of the house. When they got outside they both ran back to her house excited. When they got back to Alexandra's room they immediately started making out, Amadeus ruined the moment and said "Wait wait, what are we now?" Alexandra held his hand sitting him on her bed saying "We're together now" Amadeus laid down with Alexandra next to him, the both fell asleep holding hands while facing each other.
