Adeline woke up to the sun hitting her face as she was facing the window due to resting on the patio seat. She stretched and yawned as she slowly got up. 

'That was the best sleep I had in a while'

Adeline glanced over where Benjamin was sleeping only to find him gone from the bed. She panicked and looked around for the only person who could come up with an excuse as to why she was here. If anyone walked in right now and questioned her, he could easily say he didn't know her at all and have Adeline arrested for trespassing.

"B-Benjamin?!"

As she was on the verge of suffocating from panic, Benjamin heard his name being called and soon patted her head to calm her down. That plan backfired as she flinched from the sudden contact and was close to hitting him until she realized who it was.

"Oh Benjeppi there you are!"

"... Benjeppi?"

"Ack! Sorry I was trying to say too many things at once and that's why your name came out all messed up-"

"Nah it's fine I like the nickname. Call me Benjeppi from now on, kay'? Which reminds me, what's your name?"

Adeline agreed to Benjamin's question, and froze when she realized how stupid she was for not telling Benjamin who she was first. "I apologize for the insolence, my name is Adeline."

Benjamin giggled a bit before brushing it off and saying that it's okay to forget stuff from time to time. He then requested for her to follow him.

Adeline nodded at Benjamin's request and soon he motioned her to the bathroom where Victoria had already set up a bath. "Isn't this yours?" Adeline was confused as to why he was giving up his bath to her when she hadn't yet agreed to being his personal maid.

"I already had my bath, and if you're going to leave my mansion, it's better if you leave after a bath." Benjamin replied to Adeline as if he read her mind. Adeline knew how to wash herself with guidance from the orphanage keepers. Benjamin provided her with a towel and then left the washroom.

Once Adeline was done rubbing off all the muck on her body, she saw Benjamin reading the same book he had brought outside yesterday night and it looked like he was greatly enjoying it. "Benjeppi what are you reading? It looks interesting."

Adeline could read basic words, so she could only make out the 'The', and  'To'. She hadn't read 'Complete, Guide,'or 'Assassination'. 

"I'm reading a good book. Which reminds me, can you read Adeline?" Adeline nodded but hesitated slightly. "I can read small words like 'To' and 'The', I don't know what the rest of those letters combined mean." Benjamin bookmarked his current page for the second time and slid off the edge of the bed he was currently sitting on.

He held out his hand for her to take, which she was hesitant to accept. After all, every person that has attempted physical contact with her never had good intentions. She took his hand and he took this opportunity to go to the nursery with her. "Benjeppi?! Where are you taking me?"

He grinned and kept quiet as they ran down the hall, passing maids who had just completed their job in washing the laundry. When Benjamin stopped Adeline developed a migraine from the sudden change in speed. The doors in front of them pushed open to reveal a woman sitting on an armchair caressing her huge belly.
