Chapter 3

One day while I was sitting on the beach , I saw Felix walking his dog again. I decided to try and make move to become friends with him. I approached him, to start the conversation I asked him what his dogs name was,he said "Emily ". After I was done petting his dog, I asked him if he wanted to get an ice cream with me later, I said I could show him the really good ice cream place in town. He said okay and we headed off. The town was silent because everyone was on vacation. It felt like just mean Felix in a bubble of summer. When we walked into the ice cream parlor I immediately thought of Sam. We used to come here all the time in the summer and get ice cream. I ordered my usual, chocolate chip and Felix ordered vanilla with sprinkles. We sat outside and talked for an hour. Please started walking back toward houses, when we got to the splitting point of our front lawns he asked me if I wanted to go to the beech with him. Said yes but I had to put my bathing suit on first. We made a plan to meet at the beach in 20 minutes.

I ran upstairs into my bedroom. I did not know what bathing suit looked the best on me. I had never thought about looking good in my bathing suit. I decided to wear my green and white tie-dye bikini, I had just bought this from forever 21. I put on some sunscreen and my favorite pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses. I made a beach bag with a towel and loads of snacks. I grabbed my phone and ran outside to the beach.

Felix was already on the beach laying on his towel. The moment I started walking towards him thought to myself, "he is actually really good looking and nice, I might like him." I walked up to him and smiled. We ate my snakes and went in the ocean. After we did all that we were so tired and decided to lay down and talk.

"So how's life ?" I awkwardly asked to start the conversation,

"Good I guess, I just kind of miss my old friends in my home town."

"You don't like hanging out with me" I questioned

"No no I love hanging out with you your so cool" he said

"Awwww thanks" I said a bit to happily

"So do you have a boyfriend or something ?" He asked with a smirk

"No"

"Well that's good to know" he whispered

My mom called me for dinner. I told him I had to go. We gave each other our phone numbers so we could txt. I went home with a big smile on my face. After dinner I picked up my phone and saw Felix had texted me.

Felix: hey, it Felix 😃

Stella: hey ✋🏾

Stella: what's up ⬆️

Felix: nm just finished dinner. 🍔

Stella: yummy

Felix: I had a great time with you today

Stella: awwwww, same 😊

Stella: I think I still have your hat

Felix: it's ok

Felix: keep it 👈🏻

Stella: u sure

Felix: ya

Stella: thanks 💁🏻

Felix: GTG

Stella: ok 👌🏿

Felix: good night ❤️

Stella: good night 😽
