DAY THREE:

1 day till everyone forgets I'm Spiderman.

"Jesus, where am I?" I groan. "I found you on the street, you looked pretty beat parker," She sighs. "Mj," I sigh. "Who's blood was on your shirt?" She asks. "Can we not?" I ask desperately. She finally gets the courage to look at me. "Please," I beg. "I don't understand you Peter, your best friend is dying and all you do is drink, lie, and cheat," She says calmly.

"Mj I never-" I begin. "I'm gonna let you get ready, we have a lot to talk about," She sighs and leaves the room. My soft sobs echo through her room. I've never been so humiliated. So sorry. So afraid. I didn't know what to say, what to do, how to even look her in the eyes and tell her, well, everything.

I walk out of the room and join her at the table. "There's another Peter Parker. He's older, in college,  he is also Spiderman, " I begin. "What?" She asks. The look on her face told me that's not at all what she was expecting. "The blood on my shirt was his. I took my anger out on him because on the day that Ned got hit, he tried to save him and he couldn't, and he told me that as we were drinking at a bar, which I know isn't responsible of me but, I have so much.. hatred for my life, for myself and the funny thing is.. so does he, so we got drunk," I ramble.

"Wait, have I met him before?" She asks. "Yes, but you wouldn't remember that because Dr. Strange did a spell which not only affected you but another Mj," I explain. "Another Mj? What?" She asks. "Peter lost his girlfriend.. gwen.. she died in his arms and because that wasn't supposed to happen, his reality merged with ours," I say. "So this other MJ.. is who you also fell for," She sighs.

"I hate myself for hurting you," I answer. Tears roll down her face. "So why didnt you tell me Peter?" She  questions. "Because I thought I could do it all on my own," I say, my voice breaking. She puts her hand on mine. "Peter I would do anything for you," She begins. "It hurts that you couldn't see that earlier," She says, softly smiling.

"What do I do?" I ask, breaking down. My phone rings. "Hello?" I answer. "Peter," The other peter says. "I-" I begin. "Did you go visit strange too?" He asks, his voice remaining hoarse. "Was it obvious?" I chuckle. "Peter I'm so-" He begins. "It wasn't your fault. And I feel so so bad because after all you've been through, I made you feel like it was," I say. "Thank you," He nods, holding back tears.

"Where are you?" I ask. "I'm at the hospital, I think you should get down here," He says.

————————30 MINUTES LATER————

"Peter, this is my MJ," I say, squeezing her hand. "Hi," He says, hugging her. "You know I kind of thought you were lying-" She chuckles. "No," He laughs. "My name is Peter Parker and I am definitely real," He says. Ned's grandma walks out. "Hey," I say. She stops in her tracks. "Is he going to be okay?" I ask. "We'll need a miracle," She says. She walks away. Peter and I look at each other as we get the same idea.

"Come outside with us?" I ask Mj. We all rush outside the building. "Two days ago, something weird happened," I say. "Yeah," He nods. "Did you feel it too?" I ask. "I saw it," He nods. "What happened two days ago?" She asks. "It's hard to explain," I say. "We were in two completely different conversations, and for a moment.. we saw each other, we felt each other, we were connected, as if we were in two different worlds merging into one," He explains.

"Conversations," I mumble. "What?" He asks. "Nothing, I was just thinking about what I was talking about when this happened," I nod. "What were you talking about?" Mj asks. "Ned. I was talking to his doctor.. and he said, "We've tried everything we possibly can, all we can do now is pray". "Hey what were- what were you talking about?" I ask. "I was talking to my aunt May.. about Gwen and- and the guilt-," He says.

A light went off in my head. I could see everything so clearly now. "And what did Aunt May say Peter?" I ask. "We've tried everything we possibly can, all we can do is hope and pray," His voice trails off. "Peter.. what if- What if -" I begin. "You two need each other," Mj says. "What?" Peter asks.

A portal quickly opens and strange grabs Peter and I. Obviously I cling onto MJ, so she comes with. "Where is this?" I ask. Nothing but darkness filled the sky, the ground, everything in between. "I want you to see something," He nods. Just like that, it's as if were moving. Light and Sounds follows is as colors flash before our eyes. "What're we doing?" Mj asks. "We're moving through Space and Time," He says.

"Ah, there it is," He says, stopping it. I look forward and I see us, Peter and I, We move again, slightly shifting, Its also Peter and I. "What a sight to see," Peter gasps. "Peter," I say. "Yeah," He says in awe. "Strange why didnt you tell us that- that this was never because of Melissa or Gwen or Mj," I begin. Steven smirks.

"This was because of Peter. This was because of me and Peter," I nod. "You knew we would figure this out didnt you?" I ask. "Well I didn't know, I assumed, think of it as an educated guess," He says. "That's a pretty messed up thing to guess about," I nod jokingly. "Well, I don't need to show you anymore," Strange says, moving us back over our own reality. In a blink of an eye we're outside of the building again.

"Enjoy boys," Strange says, before leaving. "Enjoy what?" Peter says. "Each other," He responds.

As everything was happening, I only assumed it was because Gwen and Peter, because Peter needed an MJ like I needed guidance. Only after I was faced with guilt, death, and shame, did I realize that it was never because he was missing a girl. He was there to help me when I didnt know what to do. He was there to challenge me. To show me what truly mattered.

He took comfort in having someone like me around. He took comfort in having a new perspective. In not being the young and weak, but helping the you g and weak. The whole Gwen thing was a cover up. We're here because we were missing each other.
