The Surprise Dinner

Annabeth POV

Today was my birthday and I was getting ready with Piper, Hazel and Calypso. Piper and Calypso worked on the hair and  Hazel did the makeup. She had started a shop and now when jewels popped up they weren't cursed so she made some of her makeup out of that. Frank had a business that supplied weapons for the U.S army. ¨You look so beautiful Annabeth.¨ Hazel told me. Just then there was a knock and when I went to get it I saw Thalia.

¨Thalia oh my gods! What are you doing here?¨ I asked her. ¨Percy invited me. He said it was important  and on IM he looked freaked out.¨ she told me. ¨I think he might ask the big question.¨ ¨EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.¨ everyone including me screamed. My father came running and asked what was wrong. ¨Percy might ask me to marry him.¨ I told him and screamed again spinning around. He smiled at me and I knew that he was fine with and then I thought what about my mother. Oh well she can't boss me around anymore and I won't let her. 

There was a knock at the door and I went to get it and saw Percy in a blue suit with a gray and sea green tie that matched my dress. ¨I see you came prepared.¨ I said to him. ¨I knew it was going to be one of those two colors so I did a tie with both and looks like it payed off. ¨ he said and smiled. He took my arm and I looked back and everyone was giving me a big thumbs up. 

Me and Percy kept walking till we reached the ocean and he made an air bubble for me. I surfaced after half an hour in an underwater cave. It was filled with crystals and had a couch and TV and in the corner was restaurant that had servers waiting. It looked super fancy and I was glad that Percy told me to dress fancy. 

He took my hand and took me over to the restaurant. ¨So do you like it?¨ he asked me and I smiled meaning yes. A waiter came and asked what I wanted and started to flirt with me. I gave him a glare that made him run to the kitchen. Another man came out and said that the plan was working. Then a waitress came and started to flirt with Percy. I had no idea what he was doing but I just had to wait for him to ask the question. The waitress gave us our food and left. When we finished I was mad at Percy as we made our way to the couch. He asked me what was wrong. ¨Nothing.¨ I said. Someone covered my eyes. ¨Surprise.¨ The person moved their hands and my friend and family came out. Sally had her famous blue cake and I laughed. It was a surprise party. Some more chairs were pulled up and everyone sat down. 

Percy handed me the remote and smiled. ¨Think about the movie you want and it will start playing or you can replay memories from anyone in this room.¨ he told me. I felt like doing something different and I decided to play Percy's memories of all our quests. 

It started with Percy and Grover on the bus when Nancy started throwing sandwich on Grover. He and Percy were chatting about something and when it got to the part to where Nancy got thrown into the water everyone laughed but when Mrs. Dodds appeared Grover bleated and we all got a little scared. It showed us giving the lightning bolt to Zeus and then it changed to the next year.

I wanted to laugh when I saw Grover in the wedding dress but I kept quiet so that he wouldn't get upset. When it came to the part where I was pretending to be Nobody and Polyphemus dropped me I felt Percy put me on his lap and bury his face in my hair and when I felt something wet I could tell he was crying. 

It was are third quest when I thought to my self oh my gods their going to see when we kissed in the Labyrinth. The Stolls and everyone who had filmed the underwater kiss would see it. ¨Percy their going to see the you know what from the fourth quest.¨ I told him. At first he looked shocked then he just shrugged and made a small smile. 

When it got to that part and they all saw us kiss before Mount Saint Helen exploded they looked shocked then clapped for us as if it was their entertainment. ¨Why didn't you tell us that happened?¨ The Stoll brother's asked us. We shrugged and then to get them to shut up I kissed Percy which worked well if you ask me.

When the fifth one came up Percy looked terrified and I soon found out why. I turned to Rachel ready to kill her, but before I could do it Nico quickly grabbed her and shadow traveled her to who knows where. I glared at Percy and he quickly gave me a long kiss which made me feel better. 

To say the least that was the best birthday ever and I don't want to forget it soon. I loved my Seaweed Brain and I knew he loved me his Wise Girl.
