Third person POV

《Athenodora, it's time!》

Said Angela, slightly annoyed by her daughter's slouness. She had all right to be annoyed, afterall she had already warned her child three times that morning, but Athenodora still managed to be late.

A slight rustling sound could be heard from downstairs and a minute later a small, feminine figure appeared at the top of the stairs with a much bigger luggage. Athenodora looked up, her eyes connecting with her mother's. She slightly smiled, feeling sorry, and Angela's frown deepened.

《Darling, please pay more attention when people talk to you. Maybe if you did we would be on time. Now come before your father decides to grace us with his presence. You know he will not be happy.》

Athenodora noded and with as much grace as she could muster, she managed not to fall on those murderous stairs. Oh, how she disliked them!

Angela and Athenodora exited the house and left the big luggage near the SUV; surely Jefferson could get it into the car.

Angela stopped for a minute and stared at Athenodora, or more specifically at her daughter's outfit of choice. Yes, her daughter looked presentable: with black tights, flats, a rosy coat which stopped just above her knees, her blonde hair pulled up in a graceful bun and a face-free makeup, Athenodora was the image of elegance. Angela smiled at her child, suddenly feeling at ease; Athenodora was beautiful, well behaving and she was so proud of her little girl.

Unnaware of her mother's constant gaze, Athenodora was lost in thoughts. She looked at the beautiful white mansion once before her eyes fell on the snow covered trees that surrounded the building. Yes, she would miss his place while she was gone; it was the only home she had ever known and leaving it, even if just for a little amount of time, was overwhelming. But she was also excited. She could not understand why, but the idea of going to Lunarocca sounded promising. And, as curious as she was, she wanted to go and calm her inner tumoils.

Arms wrapped around her slim shoulders and she instantly melted against them; hoe could she not, when her brother's arms were so conforting.

Caua was twenty two, and the soon to be Alpha always seemed to sense when his loved ones were unease, and calm them. Well, at least with her it worked.

《Hey, Baby girl.》

She smiled at his whispered words, inching closer to him. His arms had always had that familiarity that eased her nerves. It was the closest thing to home that she had.

Both of them turned and looked at their young mother; she had always been so beautiful. Athenodora's eyes catched movement behind her creator. Athena's smjle widened when she looked at her forty years old father: he was still so young at heart and her old man with his clear green eyes was her hero. He hugged Angela from behind and the woman once again found confort in her mate's arms. They had found each other early in life, Jefferson being only fifteen and Angela herself thirteen. A rare case, but the couple never left each other again.
Athenodora's parents sometimes told her stories about their adventures together, and the girl could not wait to experience such happiness herself.

She stopped her train of thoughts when her father's voice boomed trought the calming silence that had engulfed them.

《Let's go. George is waiting for us near the pack house.》

Said the Alpha. With one last glance around the place she grew, Athenodora joined her family in the awaiting car and together the four of them directed themselves to the pack house, where they would finally head to their final destination: Lunarocca.
