Eddie slipped into bed beside his best friend of god knows how long. "Hey Rich, it's supposed to rain today" Richie hummed and got up to go to the shelf "What's that gotta do with me?" He questioned as he ran over the movies on the shelf. "We should go out" Eddie shot back and to his surprise Richie answered with "Sure." and now he's sitting on the bed struggling to put his already tied shoes on as Eddie took like 5 seconds to put on his converse. Richie finally got his shoes on and ran outside with Eddie.

As they got outside, Eddie started skipping around as Richie watched with a smile on his freckled face. "Join me!!" Eddie yelled out to him, holding his hand out, "No- I don't dance" Richie denied but Eddie was persistent "C'mon It'll be fun!" He said and grabbed Richie's hand in a tight grasp as he pulled the taller one to himself. "fine-" Richie gave in as they started slow dancing.

"Hey Eds?" Richie spoke up from the soft patters of rain. "Yes?" Eddie spoke back.



"I love you" Richie said in a soft tone. Eddie was quiet for a moment before saying "I love you too, Rich"
