EDDIE's POV

I can't believe I actually mustered up the confidence to talk to the most attractive boy in the school.

God, Y/N is a dream and words couldn't describe how uncontrollably funny he is.

I hear him talking with Penelope sometimes in class and I have to hold in my laughter.

I can't wait to see him tonight at my campaign.

Y/N's POV

It was 20 minutes until the campaign starts, I was pacing back and forth in my room trying to calm myself down.

I look down at my hand and sigh. His number had faded throughout the day, yet it was still a bit visible.

My feet had a mind of their own and walked all the way to the home phone that sat on my desk to the far right.

I sit down at the desk and pick up the phone. I dial the number and wait with the ringing.

"Hello?"

That wasn't Eddie? Did he trick me, was this a joke?

"Um hi, is Eddie Munson there?"

I hear a bit of shuffling, "Yeah, the kid is in his room getting ready for his club meeting, let me get him. Hang on there."

I thank the man and wait a bit, maybe that was a relative of some sort.

I honestly always thought Eddie lived alone considering his age, and when I went inside his trailer it seemed like it could really only fit one person...that was weird of me to do.

"Heya! It's the one and only Eddie, who may I pay the pleasure of talking to?"

"Oh hey Eddie it's Y/N, just wanted to call to ask if you could give me a ride to the place the campaign is being held?"

"Sure thing, where you live?"

"Uh literally a couple of trailer homes down from yours."

I then hear a gasp, "Holy shit, no way. How come I never noticed, okay I'll knock on your door in 5!"

I agree then hang up the phone...holy moly guacamole I'm gonna be in a vehicle with Eddie Munson by myself.

I think I just shat myself.

I hear a knock on the door and scurry pass my mom who is asking me where I'm going.

I open the door and walk out closing it behind me.

I turn around to see how close I am to Eddie.

He looks at me with wide eyes and takes a few steps back, "You ready?"

I nod my head and start walking towards Eddie's van with him by my side.

He then opens the door for me and shuts it when I get in all the way, what a gentleman.

He gets in and starts up the engine, "So Y/N, um is this your first DnD campaign?"

I shake my head in agreement, "Yeah, it is. I'm sorry if I'm not too good for my first time."

He puts his hand on my thigh and rubs it a little, "It's alright, just stick by my side and you'll get it pretty quick."

I look down at his hand then back to his eyes.

He smiles brightly and starts to drive with his hand still resting upon my thigh. His thumb occasionally caressing me.

My face was red hot with nerves.

We then pulled up to the area, before we got out the vehicle Eddie grabs my hand, "Before we get in there I need to tell you something or I'll regret never saying it."

"Um okay, what is it?"

He sighs and rubs his face making his rings click against each other.

"I like you, like a lot, you're so funny, considerate, and all above just amazing...you don't have to return the feelings, but I just wanted to tell you that and get it off my chest."

My jaw was on the floor.

"Eddie, I-I like you too. I honestly thought you wouldn't like me like that."

He is now smiling from ear to ear and grabs both my hands, "Is it okay if I kiss you?"

I nod my head with a smile on my face as well.

He leans in and I do too meeting him in the middle.

The sparks definitely flew, this was life changing, this sensation was something I never wanted to stop.

Eddie Munson likes me, and now he is literally kissing me. Penelope is gonna flip when she hears this.

We then pull apart and Eddie speaks up, "Well, we better get to that campaign, don't you think so beautiful?"

I smile brightly and squeeze his hands that still were in mine, "Yes, I do think so."
