Austin's P.O.V:

They say that a heart break can kill a person inside and out. I think they are right. Similar thing was happening to Mia. She was locked up in her room, since she returned from school. She wasn't answering back when I knocked on her door neither was she picking up Allison's calls.

Allison had called me a few times to ask about updates, regarding Mia. But there was nothing to tell her. I knocked again. "Mia! Open the door, please. We should talk." I pleaded.

Finally. She opened the door. Her eyes blood red and her skin looked a little pale. I took a deep breath. "Mia are you okay?" I hugged her tightly. I couldn't see her like that. God! This is all my fault.

"Austin.. Errr... I can't breath." I pulled away.

"Sorry."

She chuckled a little. I glared at her, worried. She just rolled her eyes and replied my question. "I'm fine Austin. You don't need to worry about me." Her voice as calm as talking about weather.

Now I was confused. Wasn't she supposed to cry on shoulder and tell me how much she hate Andrew. Not that I minded her being calm, but this calmness of her was scaring me. But I brushed the thought away. "Do you want to go somewhere?"

"I better finish my chemistry homework. You know how cruel Mr. MaCall is when it comes to homework and assignments." she replied grinning evilly. Whats wrong with her?

"Come on Mia. A few hours will cause you no harm." I really wanted to talk to her about Andrew and every thing that happened in school. She seemed like debating in her mind.

Finally, she sighed. "Okay. Fine."

"Great. Get ready and meet me outside." I said as I made my way down stairs.

Nearly after ten minutes, we were on our way. I glanced over Mia who was busy looking outside her window.

"You should call Allison. She was pretty worried about you." I suggested.

Mia's P.O.V:

You can do this. Mia, you can do this. My wolf kept repeating. I was trying to play 'cool' in front of Austin, but inside, I was freaking out. I had to do this.

I dialed Allison's number with shaky hands. She picked up on second ring. Wow, that was fast.

"Hello, Mia?" she said, her voice filled with concern.

"Hey."

"Are you alright? Are you still crying? Are you freaking out? How are you feeling? Do you need something? Do you want me to bring some ice-cream for you? Just wait, I will be there in fifteen minutes." she rambled and I just rolled my eyes.

"Are you done?" I asked. "I am fine Ally, don't worry about me. And you don't need to come over, I am with Austin, he is taking me somewhere."

"Oh." was her only reply.

"Yes."

"Okay then. Mia I am sorry. Its all my fault I shouldn't have given you that dare. It was stupid of me. I really need to stop such childish things." she said.

"Its not your fault, so stop scolding yourself, okay?" I asked.

"Okay. So take care and call me if you want to tell me something or if you want ice-cream or maybe if you want me come over or if..."

"Okay. Okay. I get it. I'll call you if need something." I chuckled.

She sighed. "I'm worried about you."
