Chapter 9

Andrew's P.O.V:

I woke up to someone knocking on my door. The person really needed to stop or I was definitely doing to make him not. I groaned and rolled on my back. "Come in."

The door opened and walked in a girl with brunette hair. 'Woo she is cute man.' my wolf said. 'Not as cute as Mia.' I replied. Wait. What? Mia? I didn't see that coming. Why the hell am I comparing her to Mia? I must be really sleepy. Yes, I am sleep deprive. 'Yeah, because you were up all night thinking of her.' my wolf said. Erggh my wolf don't know when to shut up.

"Um.. Andrew.. I mean Alpha." she said in a hushed tone and blushing furiously. Well I always had this effect on girls.

"What a beautiful lady like you is doing in my room so early. Not that I have a problem." I winked her way. She blushed even more.

"Well um.. your father like uh.. wanted you in his office. The new pack will be here in an hour." She said looking towards ground.

"Shoot. I forgot they were coming today." I quickly got out of bed and ran towards bathroom. I didn't care if I was in my boxers and that girl was unconsciously drooling over me. The pack in North-West was attacked and there were more threats, so the Alpha asked for our help. And we being the biggest, strongest and the most generous pack, welcomed them and promised to give shelter to them until their problems were solved. And I would've definitely remembered it, if certain someone hadn't occupied my mind.

I let out a sigh of frustration as I made my way to my let father's, well soon to be mine, office. I walked in and saw my Mom sitting in one of couches and Dad pacing around, rubbing his chin with his index finger, looking really pissed. Oh God I am in deep shit. I knocked on the door signaling my presence.

"Hey Dad you wanted to see..."

"Oh young man do you have any idea what time and day it is? What has gotten into you that you forgot that Moon Light Pack is coming today?" He snapped. "Tell me son what has got your mind so preoccupied?"

My thoughts snapped to Mia and the damn dare. I was so busy thinking of her that I didn't remember anything.

"I m sorry Dad. Its just I.. I forgot. I am sorry. It will definitely not happen again."

"It better not young lad. Such type of attitude is does not suit future Alpha. You have to understand it Andrew, its not child's play. You've got real responsibilities Mister." My Dad said eyeing me up and down. He looked really angry but now he was not only one pissed there. I was pissed. How could he say hat to me? I know my priorities and definitely know how to take care of my responsibilities.

"I know Dad very well. I am not a child, so stop treating me like one."

"First you could stop acting like one. How can you forg..." My Mom came and stood near him, rubbing his arm to calm him down and surprisingly it worked.

"Its alright honey. He is here now. There is no need to stress yourself and I am sure it won't happen again. He is a big boy now." she cut him and smiled at him."We'll meet you down stairs, they will be here anytime now." she said signaling me to go.

"I am going to see the preparations." I said walking out, without looking back. I just wanted to pull out my hair. What are you doing to me, Mia? You are driving me insane.I have never been maniac or insomniac all at the same time.

Moon Light Pack had arrived and there different cars were parked outside. Everyone was out of his or her car, but non of them entered our pack house. They were waiting for their Alpha. Suddenly a black mustang pulled in the driveway. By then, everyone was looking at it. It must be the Alpha. The door opened and climbed out a guy around my age. Eric Bryan. Who turned eighteen just a few weeks ago.

I roamed my eyes around to see if he had a mate, but nope, he didn't. In a matter of second, two guys stood near him, must be his beta and gemma. My beta was Austin, who also happened to be my best friend. He was standing by my side looking bored but still alert. This is how he was. Calm from outside but ready for worst from inside. And this is what I liked most about him.

Eric started marching towards us. He stood a few steps in front of us.

"Alpha Roger." he greeted my father, extending his hand and giving him a nod.

"Alpha Eric." my father replied, shaking his offered hand.

"Call me Eric, sir." he said smiling. He turned towards me. "Thank you Alpha, for helping us. We are all really grateful to you for giving us shelter."

"Oh it was our duty to help our friends." My father shrugged, as if it was nothing. "And meet my son, Andrew, the soon-to-be Alpha of our pack."

"Alpha Andrew." he extended his hand to me too, smiling. "It was nice meeting you."

"Pleasure is all mine." I said as I shook his hand. "Please come ine and make yourself feel home. And everyone their is no need for any formalities. Make yourself comfortable. My beta, Austin, here, will show you around and tell you rules which we really hope you guys to abide."

"So Eric, you will be attending same school as Andrew?" Eric looked up from his food and smirked.

"Indeed, sir." he replied.

"Oh that makes me feel older, Call me Roger."

"So you starting from tomorrow?" I asked taking a part in conversation.

"I hope so." On the right cue Austin came and asked me to come out.

"So I think I will see to tomorrow then." I said.

"Sure."
