The midterms were coming up.

Y/N wasn't a bad student. She and Jay were the top scorers after all. only Jay has been able to beat her and its not like she has to be at the top after all

But still Y/N wanted to study. And because she was at the top student most of the time Mira asked her to tutor her yo which Y/N agreed

Mira was a really nice girl after all

She should have taken into account Zack in the equation as she was now trailing behind Mira as she met up with Zack

Zack was elated at the sight of Mira but when he saw Y/N trailing behind his eye twitched

Because the co ed room was full they had no choice but to split up leaving Zack alone at the males side while Y/N and Mira actually studied

Mira was actually a quick learner so teaching her was a breeze. She only had to clear up the formulas that are easy to mix up

After a while Mira said that she was getting hungry so she invited Zack and Y/N to the cafeteria below

Y/N trailed them awkwardly as they were having such a sweet moment she doesn't wanna interrupt

Y/N bought herself some chips and drinks and went back upstairs as she saw Mira standing by a window

When Mira noticed Y/N she motioned her to her side.

Looking from the window Y/N saw Zack bowing respectfully as he spoke with an elder woman with his cigarette hidden.

'Huh so he isn't that bad'

Y/N saw Mira smiling as she whispered something to her

"Even though he's a brute he is really sweet isn't he?"

Y/N just nodded wondering why Mira seemed to smile even more

Y/N was dragged by Mira to go see Zack who offered to buy drinks but was cut off as he was pushed aside by the guys back at the crappy bar

With the look Zack was giving Y/N though he was gonna beat them up but he just sucked it up and touched both Mira's and Y/N's shoulder and guided them away.

Y/N could see the veins in Zack's neck so he must be pretty pissed off.

Y/N was getting tired of going back down and up so she just studied in the cafeteria and saw Zack and Mira with the dudes huddling them

When she saw how one of the guys tapped Mira's breast she raced over as Zack punched the dude

When she went to Mira's side she was grabbed by the waist by a guy with a beanie

"That was a cheap shot dude... But what about this chick here? She yours too?"

Y/N stepped on the guys feet hard. Not to mention she was wearing low heels

The guy pushed Y/N but she didn't even move an inch and the guy was faced with an uppercut

Zack grabbed Y/N's forearms and his her behind him as he shielded both her and Mira

The situation seemed to have been handled by Zack as Y/N went to Mira asking if she was ok

Later that night Y/N was chatting with Mira when she gave Y/N Zack's number so that Y/N can thank him.

Zack noticed a random number text him so he opened the message

No problem.

Shit Zack wasn't used to talking to other girls. Was he too dry? Is she gonna talk shit to Mira?

He was having an internal crisis when his phone pinged again
