Prydwen's POV
The Warriors were an ancient clan of fighters. Their history went way back and started with the first Warriors, Augustus and Elisa Warrior. Every single Warrior was trained in the art of sword-fighting, warfare and medicine. Children of these Warriors began their training at the age of eight, it was a stage in their lives when they would finally understand the risks and threats of life.
The Camp of Incas was a place where the children were sent, to live for a few years, away from their parents. Tough training during the day and caution at night was the routine. Even though it was a hard time for mere children, they were taken care of. There were adults who would look after their wounds, tuck them to bed when they had nightmares and helped them strengthen up when they felt weak.
How did I know all this? I spent one year there. I was supposed to be there for four years, but fate was a wretched little thing. I was destined to a different fate, which began outside the City of Incas, in an abandoned Bluestone mansion.

At that moment, exhaustion was all I felt. It was heavy and weighed upon me like a huge boulder. Suddenly, even trudging up to my room felt like a tricky task. Dragging my tired body, I opened the door which led to my room and collapsed onto the bed.
It was an intense day.
I placed my left arm over my face and sniffed. I was stinking- also, I realized, my body ached. Groaning loudly, I got up in a sitting position and decided on getting a hot shower before retiring to bed. I hadn't taken a bath after coming back home, I was too hungry and distracted. The sweat and grime of the combat with the monster still clung to me.
I stepped inside the huge mini-room. Blue, spotless tiles covered the walls, a grey tub in one corner which looked cozy, and a gigantic mirror that covered up an entire wall.
Without any delay, I walked straight towards the bathtub, I wasn't sure if I could stand all the way through, my legs felt wobbly. I turned on the taps and set the water at the right temperature- just hot enough to soothe the pain. Without waiting for it to fill up, I undressed and opened all the bandages. Looking at the wounds, I felt some comfort that my blood was inside my body and not spewing out of it.
I stepped into the bathtub, sat down, laid my head on the headrest, and thought of every single minute of the day. It was hectic.
