All the girls were gathered on the front lawn of Y/N's house to chit-chat making beautiful garlands some were waving the wool-making scarf.

Girl 1: Y/N!

The young lady looked at the person speaking.

Y/N: Yes?

Girl 1: Are you going to think about your marriage or not you have become old enough.

Y/N: Aren't you gonna get married? Because you are older than me.

Gir 1: I am getting married next month.

Jimmy: Oh really.

She jumped and sat beside her.

Jimmy: Tell me more about your fiance, how he looks, what does he do?

Y/N: Do you want to get married to her husband or what?

All the girls laughed on the lawn at Jimmy. She rolled her eyes sassily and said.

Jimmy: I am also going to get married one day to a handsome man.

Y/N: Oh really! Jimmy oh my god. (laughs)

We were laughing talking and singing until we heard the boy shouting that girl's name. He ran and came to his sister and panted.

Boy: Sister your fiance came to our house father is calling you at home.

The girl blushed and hide her face in her palm.

Jimmy: Let's go with her we will get to see her husband to the way she is blushing.

All the giggled and went to her house. The muscular man was sitting on the cot as the girl was all red standing near the house door. The man was talking with her father. His facial expression was a little tense something serious things were going on between them.

Man: Let's stop this marriage. I don't want to marry her anymore.

Her father: Please sir you can't do this my daughter likes you and she is ready for this marriage.

Man: Ok but you have to give me all your farm and goats with the girl as a dowry.

Her father: Then what I will eat and feed my other three children? Sir, please don't do this to us.

The old man fell on the feet of the younger man while crying.

Man: Then forget this marriage. I am off.

The young man shook his leg and the older man fell to the floor while crying the girl ean from there crying because her marriage was not going to happen anymore.

All the girls turned to return home but her heart sank a bit looking at the old man crying there cursing to himself. She quickly got in and gave him a glass of water.

Y/N: Stop crying uncle maybe he was not right for your daughter, more young men will come to keep her like a queen after you. He was not right for that beautiful flower uncle. Let's forget and start a new day hmm.

With that, she got up and came to her home.

Jimmy: Where were you?

Y/N: At her house, I was consoling her father a little bit.
