Right there and then, Rui had achieved his goal, though not in the way he had planned. Mizuki was his witness, along with that the troupe were on their way to see what he had done

Mizuki approached Rui, he was ready for a lecture. "Is this what you wanted?" Mizuki looked into Rui's eyes with hatred "It's not even funny. It can't even make up one scene in a comedy"

"Yes, this is indeed what i wanted, i don't want you to understand why or how i'm doing this, after all, it doesn't really make sense. This is just an act of my pure stubbornness and commitment"

Mizuki smiled softly, with a sense of disappointment "this has been quite a roller coaster hasn't it, Rui?" Mizuki looked away "it truly has been, my friend.." Mizuki had this sudden feeling of rage.

"Don't you dare call me friend! After all you've done?! Are you fucking serious?!" Rui didn't budge, he just laughed softly "i just wanted to get a reaction out of you" he turned to the fire "i've proved to myself that i've lost everybody in my life"

"You're so incredibly stubborn." Mizuki was enraged and left quickly, with a heavy step. They saw the troupe approaching rapidly. They yelled loud enough so Rui could hear, "That's your cue!"

"Again?! Rui what is wrong with you!?" Tsukasa ran and slapped him "Tsukasa no!!!" Emu grabbed his hand in an attempt to stop him from punching Rui again. Nene had nothing to say, she didn't even want to look Rui in the eyes.

Emu was again, devastated. "Rui.. w—what about the letter i wrote..! I forgive you Rui! Why are you doing this!!" Rui laughed and turned around "because nothing matters at this point does it?!"

"Eveybody hates me, i've set myself up this whole time, my live for you all became an unhealthy one" Rui looked Tsukasa in the eyes "i've done this to myself." 

Emu began to sob. The air was getting toxic, the smell of burnt plastic was leaving everyone light-headed. They could hear sirens approaching and Rui knew it was time for his plan to end.

Rui ran away to the back of phoenix wonderland, where the fire was stronger, where the stage used to be. Tsukasa ran after him leaving the troupe behind, he could see them starting to pass out

No matter. He had to stop Rui, his mind jumped to the worst conclusions, all sorts of endings were in his head. He had to stop every single one of them.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" Tsukasa grabbed Rui's arm. They could both hear the police coming their way. The scenery was unreal "I could ask the same for you, Tsukasa, i think i made it clear my plan cannot be stopped"

Everything was covered in fire and they were both doing their best not to pass out "This will be my last reminder, i know you're tired of me saying this but.. i love you" Rui smiled

Tsukasa was caught off guard, his body started to feel heavy, he could feel himself passing out. "You.. You're one committed guy huh..?" He passed out before having the chance to talk about how he felt.

Rui grabbed Tsukasa's limp body and put it away from the fire, being cautious not to get caught. The scenery turned into a cliché, the whole place was burning and he was near his beloved, ready to die.

Taking off his shoes, he left a note in them, hoping it wouldn't burn. He stepped into the fire, the smell was unbearable, but this is the way he wanted to go out, In pain. That's all he deserved after what he'd done, he was aware of that

His clothes were burning and it was a matter of seconds before he started burning too, the police were right outside the fire so he had nothing but to run. All he felt was pain, but he kept running.

After what felt like years, he passed out.

With one last scream, he died.
