Two months. It took me two months to return home. Along the way while I was resting as a town my sword and uniform was delivered
Guy: I am Haganezuka I have forged Leonardo Kottamizu's sword and have come to deliver it
Me: That's me! Want to come inside where I am staying?
Haganezuka: Oh yes please!
I invite him into the inn room I am staying in. For free because apparently it's against the moral code of the inn owner to charge a 12 year old to stay in his inn. We sit at my table and he takes out the sword it's wrapped in linens... Probably to keep it safe
Haganezuka: It's a masterpiece. I put a lot of care into forging it for you.
Me: I can't wait to see it!
Haganezuka unwraps the sword
Haganezuka: The materials for this sword come from the caves deep in the ocean where the temperature is the coldest all the waves and water pressure make the materials very durable so they can be hard to break and it's also able to absorb warm and cold temperatures equally well making it deadly to demons it is made from materials known as the frozen platinum ore and frozen stone
I grab it admiring the sheath and hilt with a smile on my face and Haganezuka lets out a rageful impatient yell
Haganezuka: Come on draw it already! Nichirin swords can also be referred to as the color changing katanas because depending on the bearer the sword will change color
Me: Ok ok I get it! Impatient man...
I pick up the sword finally testing the weight and Haganezuka exhales impatiently so I unsheath it... The blade glimmers with this otherworldly sheen... But it's just kinda grey like a normal sword?
Me: Huh it's not changing-
Suddenly a light blue creeps along the blade slowly stretching across the whole blade as I look at it in surprise
Haganezuka: What? I've never seen a color like that. That is quite interesting and unique... It's just like the snow...
I look at my new sword my heart racing at the sight of this light blue color. It feels as if the frozen essence of winter has blessed my sword with it's beauty
Me: Wow... This is excellent craftmanship... You must have worked so hard...
Haganezuka: I did... Also Rengoku asked me to give this to you
He reaches into his pocket fulling out a tsuba it looks like Rengoku's but looks sharper and is blue and white instead of red and yellow
Me: It's amazing...
I carefully take off the black tsuba that was on my sword and replace it with the one Rengoku sent me
Haganezuka: Wow... It looks like it was always meant to be there
Haganezuka stands and turns around
Haganezuka: Oh right!
He plops down a bag
Haganezuka: Your uniform!
Me: Wow!
I grab the bag and tear it open and I see the demon slayer uniform in all of its glorious splendour. The deep black and finely knit etchings... It's truly a work of art...
Haganezuka: Now I must leave Leonardo Kottamizu. Goodbye boy.
Me: Goodbye Mr. Haganezuka thank you!
He nods and leaves my room and immediately I put on my new uniform
