Purple girls: Tonight you've come to enter the Demon Slayer Corp's Final Selection. Thank you all for being here. Here on Mount Fujikasane there are several demons that were captured alive by demon slayer swordsmen. They are kept here for this event. The wisteria blossoms prevent them from leaving they bloom on this mountain year round and they cover everything from the base to halfway to the top
The way they talk is eerie... At the same time... One at a time... Finishing each other's sentences... Creepy
Purple girls: But the wisteria ends here so demons about from this point on and they're very hungry. In order to complete Final Selection you must survive for seven days beyond the wisteria's protection.
Seven days isn't so bad... I honestly thought this would have been longer...
Mai: SEVEN DAYS?!
Me: Yeah? And?
Mai: I knew it was long but... Man seven days with demons!? That's nuts!
Shai: Calm down Mai! We trained for this!
Mai crosses his arms pouting but nodding nonetheless. His nervousness is written all over his face... I can't help but wonder if he will survive the night...
Purple girls: Now your trial begins.
As the eerie words of the girls linger in the air a chill runs down my spine. I glance at Mai who is nervously biting his nails. Shai on the other hand stands tall her determination shining through
Mai: So uh... How do we start?
Shai: We enter the forest you idiot!
She says pointing in to a dark path that several people are entering. I take a deep breath staring deep into the path ahead. My heart races with excitement
Mai: We should stick to gether! For protection!
Shai: For once I agree. Three people are better than two and better than one.
