"Oh Jungwon , you're here?" A girl about our age comes
upto him.
"Oh hi mei, just came by to get a new shirt" He
replies.
"Oh yea, y/n this is mei ,Jay's girlfriend and
Mei this is y/n, my umm my - "
"employee" I complete for him as he nods.
"New clothing line has arrived in the second floor.
Jay's not here right now but yea if you need
something just give one of us a call" mei replies.
"Do you think this cream one looks better or the
purple one?" Jungwon asks.
Y/n scans both the shirts.
"Both are pretty but I think the cream one suits you
better"
Jungwon purchased the cream one without giving a
second thought and didn't hesitate to wear it on
spot.
"You do have great taste, y/n. I am impressed"
He says admiring himself in the mirror.
"I am surprised you didn't realized earlier Jungwon"
She sarcastically remarks back.
They spent some time roaming the mall, admiring
shops ,dresses accessories and everything there.
"Let's go back fast,my working hours aren't over
yet" Y/n tells Jungwon while he slowly looks at her
He scratches the back of his neck almost as if he
was shy and replies,
"We don't have to go back so fast, you know?"
"Wanna like,I mean if you don't mind-like get
lunch together? Besides it's the first time we met
outside of work and to be honest,I really don't
wanna do any kind of paperwork right now.
Please?" He says stuttering just a little.
"Sure" y/n replies.
"It was that easy to convince you?" He asks.
"Of course, who would wanna miss a good lunch "
"So you envy main characters or no?" Jungwon asks the girl who had being going off about all the cliché shehad experienced, more like 'read in books'
according to what she told Jungwon.
"Sometimes but then again,the main characters
have their own struggles. You can't help but admire
them."
"Do you ever think you are the main character?" He
asks
'Funny coming from you'
She thinks
"No" She replies in confidence.
"Why tho ,I mean-every one is the main character
of their own story,right?" He asks.
'Not everyone,jungwon'
"Well I don't know about that." She replies.
"You know about these clichés as if you have seen
them in real life" jungwon tells her eating a spoonful of his food.
"Its all because I read too much books and
wattpad" y/n replies but lowering her voice a
little at the last part.
Well she didn't exactly lie, she was in her teens
when she experienced her 18 story. You know one
of those extras you find in libraries just sitting
down to fill up the place so that the main leads
must have to sit together and interact? Yep she was
one of them
Then the girl again started telling her favorite of all
the story she had been in. It was about a couple in
their late 30's who were each other's first love back
in high school only to meet 15 years later and fall in
love again. She loved how simple and sweet their
story was without any type of complications
interrupting them.
While y/n ranted about it with a big smile. Jungwon
couldn't help but smile back thinking how adorable
the girl is. Even if he wanted to hide the smile,he
couldn't. That's how happy he was. He was glad
that y/n spoke so much. Jungwon needed some time
to get comfortable with people but in y/n's case
it was so natural.
