the crowd cheers.
Y/n was sitting with lisa, sunghoon's
girlfriend and Mei ,Jay's girlfriend.
"Jay can be kind of annoying but still I love him"
Mei says laughing.
"Sunghoon too,is kind of questionable however I
like questionable things so fair enough" lisa
admits.
"Both of you seem to love your boyfriends alot"
Y/n says.
"I do. If we ever break up than I don't think I would
love anyone the way I love Jay" mei answers.
"Same. It would be the worst heart break" lisa
too adds.
Y/n found them cute. She peeks over to the
table Sunghoon,Jay and Jungwon were sitting.
‚Will I ever like someone the way I like Jungwon?
Will I regret if I don't confess and let him go?

She thinks.
Almost as if they read her minds lisa says,
"If you give up you would regret it your entire life"
"Right. It's better to get rejected to have that
lingering feelings inside" mei too says.
The music hugged the whole hall. Many had stood
up and started to dance along with lisa and
Mei .
Y/n felt kind of suffocated so she stood up to go
outside.
Her heels clicked at the beat of the music and
everyone seemed to be having a good time.
Suddenly a pair of arms circled around her waist.
To her relief it was just Jungwon.
"Jungwon? What happened?" She asks.
"Jiyoon and Youngsoo are here too. 'He says.
"and we should go to chenle" He finishes.
Both of them walk to the bar counter.
"Oh you two are finally here? Was expecting to see
you two" He says.
"Must be shocked looking at them right?" Chenle
asks again signaling at jiyoon and Youngsoo.
The duo nods.
Sighing,he straightens his back
"You know what substitute means right?" He asks.
"Of course" both of then reply.
"Sunstitutes only take place of the main character
when the main character isn't present.
But here,the system switchups in avalon have led
to substitute switch ups."
"You know that we don't understand at all,right?"
Y/n says.
"So,in other stories that you were a part of. Has the
scene been replaced?" He asks.
"No" She replies.
" the characters?" He asks again.
"No" She answers.
"Hmm,so you are new to this.
Let me explain, when stories have slight change in
them. Which can be due to many reasons such as
writers changing their mind. Character not
fulfilling the story's desired characteristics. They
can be changed midway.
Similarly these characters substitutes are also
developed the same way. Character switches don't
happen often but this story is kind of different. Its
not just one character switch here" He explains.
"I know it sounds confusing but you will
understand it later"
"So what do we do?" Jungwon asks.
"When are you returning to Korea?" Chenle asks.
"The day after tomorrow " Jungwon replies
"Ohhh, For now go and look over jiyoon and
Youngsoo. "Chenle says.
The both nod and were about to walk to the dance
floor when chenle calls them again,
"Also! Follow everything they do in the dance floor.
I mean EVERYTHING"
The duo walks off not knowing why Chenle was
So excited
Karina slightly hits his head.
"Why did you give out so much right now?" She
whispers.
"Gotta complete this story soon and in a good
note." He replies.
Jungwon put both of his arms around her while she put hers on his neck.
"You look so pretty " He comments unable to take
his gaze off her.
Blushing she doesn't know what to reply.
Youngsoo and jiyoon too seemed happy with
each other. They were smiling, attaching their
foreheads together,talking while dancing.
Y/n and Jungwon too followed their actions as they
were directed to.
Following the same steps both the pairs were
somewhat identical.
"I like you so much" The words that came out of
Youngsoo's lips could be heard by Jungwon and y/n.
"I like you so much" Jungwon also tells y/n which
results to both of their hearts beating faster.
Youngsoo holds jiyoon close by his left hand and
Jungwon follows.
Youngsoo's right hand holds jiyoon's
face, rubbing her lips with his thumb and soon
enough Jungwon too follows.
Jungwon looks at her with galaxy in his eyes and gives her a smiles.
Y/n knew too well what was coming but she
couldn't stop herself. Infact, no one could
Youngsoo and Jungwon leaned in together to meet their girl's lips
This was the moment Jungwon and y/n forgot
everything. With his lips on her, fire crackers
started blasting immediately of her. Not hesitating
she of course kissed him back. Her one hand was
on his shoulders while the other was slowly sliding
in his hair.
He bought her closer to deepen the kiss forgetting
that he should be following Youngsoo.
The beginning of the kiss was somewhat soft but
now it was rougher as if they waited decades to feel
each other's lips on their.
Some time later they both pulled away which was
followed by heavy breathing.
Not removing his hand from her waist,he slightly
leans in to connect their foreheads.
Karina was smiling at a distance.
"They are so damn cute" She talks to herself.
"Hey atleast thank me for making your ship kiss"
Chenle hisses.
"Shut up let me enjoy the moment" She replies
