Part 35

Arielle pov;

We are preparing for the event. We exit the house and saw Aiden is already outside waiting for us. My brother suddenly appear and approach Aiden. Aiden straight away bow at him but my brother say " so you're that asshole who ruin my sister's life? ". Aiden didn't say anything. He didn't even dare to fight back because maybe he realizes his mistakes.

My brother warn him " don't you even dare try to do something funny to my sister understand?! ". Aiden nodded but I could see he was startled for a moment but act like it's nothing.

We enter the car and my brother pull me " make sure you only go to the event with him ". I nodded and say okay to him. Yeah, of course I wouldn't even want to go anywhere with him it's not like I would be happy to be on a date with him.

We are on our way to the kindergarten. Adrian screaming excitedly " yeay finally I have mama and dada together with me to go to the event! ". That quite hit me hard. It feels like Adrian really need a dad this whole time. As if he was sad before because he thought he don't have a dad. I feel bad but at the same time I can't even forgive for what Aiden did to me before.

Aiden pov;

The moment Adrian said those words that hit me right on the spot. I realized that I just left Arielle hanging. I left her pregnant and take care of Adrian alone. It must be hard for her but I didn't think any of that because I was fill with ego by that time. I admit it's my fault for filling myself with ego but didn't even think of the consequences once I did that big mistake towards Arielle.

I saw how Arielle look sad by what Adrian said. I could feel she might be thinking that Adrian needs a father but at the same time I know she still can't forgive me. I can't blame her for that so I accept whatever her decision is. All I want is to take care of her and Adrian like a husband would do. I want to be a useful husband and a father to them. They are my responsibility, so I need to keep my responsibility going.

After few minutes, we arrive at the kindergarten. It's so crowded because some of the people are one whole family attend the event. I didn't even understand the concept of the event.

I ask Arielle and she explain about how the event is. The event are quite interesting but at the same time did she really just did all the activities here with her brother's friend? I don't know why but for a moment I feel jealous suddenly.

We were preparing for the event to start. The first event is the father needs to carry both wife and son while running racing with the other families. I carry Adrian by letting him hanging onto my back. Arielle was lost for a moment because I could sense she actually didn't even want me to carry her but I just carry her with my arms causing her surprised. She look at me and I look at her " wrap your arms around my neck. We will run " I say. She listen to me and wrap her arms around my neck.

We started to run. Adrian laugh and scream excitedly so I laugh along with him while screaming. Arielle started to laugh too. That was quite unexpected but I'm glad she find it funny.

We won the race. We get the first place so we're excited celebrating our win together by jumping with joy while we held our hands until we realized. Arielle then took her hand away from me. God, that was awkward.

The next game is we need to play pepero game. Wow I love that. I will take advantage and took my chance. Arielle was surprised by the game. She even told me that this game never exist before this. I say " it's okay I like that this game existed " while giving her my mischievous smile. She hit my arm. It's painful but I like her reaction.

We started the pepero game. We try to make it short as soon as possible but I lean my lips more on hers and start to kiss her. She hit my chest trying to broke the kiss but I just keep on kissing her. Everyone giving applaud while screaming giving us support. But she push my chest to broke the kiss. I look at her and she look down. She look angry but looking shy at the same time cause her cheeks are strangely red.

The next game is potato sack race. It looks quite hard cause we've been tied together even though we are using separate sack but the rope tied our sacks together. I think we would even fall down on our way to reach the destination.

The race start and we all started jumping. We tried our best giving all our energy to keep on going. We did it! We won we get first place for this too. But the time we reach our destination, we all fell down together. I fall down first laying down on the grass and Arielle fall on top of me.

We ended up looking at each other but Arielle look quite surprised. I love this event so much.
