Your POV
'Y/n, Y/n Harrington. That's who I am. I honestly don't know why I'm writing in this stupid thing but Steve got it for me because he said it would help me. I don't know why but oh well. It's better than what I do right now to cope I guess. I guess I might as well explain why I moved back here from my small town in Georgia. Well, for one I got into too many fights at school, too many snobs being rude or inconsiderate to either me, my friends, or people that I favored. But that's not the only reason. My dad got a new.. how do I put this?.. Hoe. After mom died, he just went straight on his way to cloud 9 drinking and shit all he wanted, she used to nag him about drinking too much but now that she's... gone, he's being getting drunk every day AND night. Especially night actually, that's when he starts getting tired and drunk so he uh, gets impatient and shit. Since he's old school and shit, he usually just results to violence or just straight up yelling. Either way, it wasn't good so Steve suggested that I moved with him back here in Hawkins. Of course, my dad didn't hesitate to send me off. As expected. Anyways, not that I'm back here since '83. To be honest, I think that's a part of why Steve gave me this dumb book to write in. After all that, I never really was ok with everything. Everyone chasing each other like little fucking rats going crazy over food, each one one fighting for power but really fucking doing nothing for either side. Eventually though, one side gave in. Collapsing in like an eroding wall. Anyways, I should get ready for school.'
"Y/N COME ON, WE NEED TO GET GOING, NOW" Steve yells from downstairs
"Shit shit shit." I whisper to myself, "OK HOLD ON JUST A SECOND PLEASE" I scream at him back. I put on..
