description: sam (16) and dean (20) are caught stealing. they are at the police station and sam is panicking (bailed on s1 ep12 of shameless)

"i get convicted, can't get into college" sam says looking down. "huh?" dean says "stanford" "good, was gonna give you a concussion so you couldn't go anyways" sam laughs with dean. "was really hoping to become a lawyer" sam's smile fades.

a bigger man walks over a sits in front of the handcuffed 17 and 20 year old. "dean winchester..." dean looks up "no relation to our favorite overnight guest john?" he questions "son" dean says. "your johns kid... this is your first felony bust getting a little late start for a winchester arnt cha" he says "slow and steady i guess" dean says sarcastically

"and sam... another john prodigy" he asks. "afraid so" dean says. "you always let your brother speak for you sam?" he asks sam. "he's mute" dean says. dam glares at his brother "i can talk" he says with a lot of anger in his voice

"so you two geniuses stole from a gas station... food, a playboy and attempted to get cigarettes, some money. you goin ona road trip or something" he asks
both dean and sam look at him "come on sam you don't wanna do time... not with that face" he says. sam opens his mouth to say something but is cut off by dean. "i made him do it... he's got more of a baby face... looks 13 thought maybe he would go easy on him and he didn't. so leave sam out of this. he's a good kid got a future ahead of him" dean says "what about you" the guy asks. "i'm a john prodigy... not a lot to go off of" dean says.

he grabs the handcuff keys. "that's the story... sam did nothing" he asks. "yeah that's the story" he lets sam go and dean stays there handcuffed.
