Drew's POV
So far today is going by pleasantly well. I met the three jerks this morning and then met Hannah. She is extremely nice and helped me find all my classes throughout the day. Chemistry though is what's had me in a haze. Damn beautiful jerk had me blushing like crazy all through class.
Now its lunch and I was sitting with Hannah near the windows in the big cafeteria. All I could think about was his words (if you keep staring at me with those big green eyes of yours you won't like what happens next.) Gah why was that so hot!
"So how is your first day at WHP so far?" Hannah asks snapping me out of my dirty thoughts.
"It's going okay I guess." I say picking at my fries.
"So how do you know the Knights?" She questions curiously. Huh the Knights what is she talking about?
She must see the confusion on my face as she scoots closer to me so I can here her whisper. "You know Alec, Jaden, and Hudson."
"Ohh the assholes haha I don't really know them." I say chuckling.
Her expression changes from curious to shock as her eyes wide.
"What I don't know them honestly." I say trying to convince her.
"Well it seemed that way to me." She said glancing around the room probably looking for jerk 1, 2 and 3.
"Well we live in the same condo complex if that's anything." I casually say taking a bite out of my sandwich.
"You WHAT!!" She shouts causing people around to glance at us and start whispering. God this school is full of whispers about me already and its only noon.
"It's not a big deal no need to shout Hannah." I say laughing at her expression.
"Hey Hannah banana can I join you guys?" A pretty girl with long light brown hair and blue eyes ask standing in front of the table near Hannah.
"Omg Av! I didn't know you were back!" Hannah sequels and gets up and hugs her.
"Hannah I missed you to but please stop squealing in my ear it's only Monday for fucks sake." She says smiling and sits next to Hannah. Oh I like her already.
"Sorry I'll tone it down but I'm just so happy you are back. I haven't seen you all summer." Hannah remarks sighing and looking down at her hands. Huh she seems to upset now.
"I know Hans but the important thing is I'm back and better then ever." She says hugging Hannah again.
I clear my throat so they know I'm here. "Umm Hi I am Drew I'm new to WHP." I say sticking out my hand to greet her.
"Oh I'm so rude! Sorry Drew I got over excited. Avery this is Drew Cassidy and Drew this is Avery Thorn my best friend." Hannah says quickly.
Avery smiles at me and takes my hand. "So you are Cassidy's kid your the talk of the entire school you know." She chimes looking me over.
"Yah that would be me." I say sighing and look back down at my food. God I hated being the new kid.
"Well it's nice to put a face to the name." She says causing me to smile. I said that same thing to Luke not too long ago.
"If you don't mind me asking but how come 'The Luke Cassidy' kept you a secret?" She ask curiously.
God I don't want to bring anyone down by explaining my sappy back ground. I'll just say sort of the truth.
"Umm well he actually didn't know I existed." I explain looking her right in the eyes and then Hannah.
"Wait what for real?" Hannah ask then grabs my hand and squeezes it a little. I barely know the girl but I can tell we are going to be great friends. I smile and just nod not wanting to get into the whole story.
