Night Swim

~Hello~

We all follow behind the waiter, he takes us up the stairs and up to the top floor.

The floor is black and marble, the entire room has a black and red theme to it, and this entire top floor is surrounded by ceiling to floor windows that allow you to see the entire view of Chicago below.

Wow.

The waiter then leads us over to our table and leaves. "Dang girl, this is one sexy restaurant," I whisper.

Bleh naughty word .

"Yea it is, Mateo looks around, "And there are some famous people on this floor." He squeals.

I look at the menu and smile, all of my favorite childhood cuisines are listed all over the menu.

It's making me feel nostalgia...

"Hey I'm Leo, I'll be taking over for Carson, he went on his break. Can I start with getting you guys any drinks?" He has black hair and blue eyes, and a pretty smile.

Oh, I can hear his accent.

"Hi, may I please have your Bellini?" Armi stares into his eyes.

Hunka hunka she's in love!

"Yes ma'am, would you like the Peach?" He smiles as he writes down her drink order. "Yes please." She blushes.

Mateo then orders, "Your Negroni please, with an orange peel." "Oh, and can I have your rum punch?" Leah says as she looks down at her phone. "Okay.." he mumbles as he writes down everyone's order.

"And you signorina?" He looks into my hazel eyes and smiles ear to ear.

WOA his teeth are almost perfect .

"Si, posso avere il tuo aperitivo per favore?" (Yes, can I have your aperitivo please?)

He looks at me with shock written all over his face, "Si signorina. Would you all like some bread and butter?" He looks at everyone other than me. "Yes!" Leah moans. "Okay, right up!" And with that, he disappears.

"Way to fucking go Nylani, always showing out," Leah mutters while smirking. I giggle, "Look I'm just trying to be um friendly, sorry Armi. You want his number-?"

"Yes." She smiles.

"So, what are we doing tomorrow night?" Mateo asks as he puts his phone back down. He chuckles while looking at me.

"I hate you." I mouth.

"Well, I was planning on going to the mall and then getting lunch." Leah sits up and puts her phone away.

Oh, I need to check if Ruiz has texted or called me.

I take out my phone to see that Ruiz has already called  me.

"Shoot- guys I'll be right back!" I panic as Leah gets up from the booth to let me out.

I quickly walk out of the secluded area into the porch that's connected to the restaurant.

"Hello?" Ruiz says.

"Oh hi Ruiz! What's up?" I move to the edge of the porch and look at my friends.

"Sorry", I mouth to them.

"So I talked to the head boss and he talked to the CEO of our incorporation, and they'd like to meet you. If you're not busy right now, I can have one of my guys pick you up and take you over to the headquarters to meet them?"

"Oh well that would be amazing, but I'm out with my friends at a restaurant. Is there any other time that I'll be able to meet them?" I stutter out of nervousness. "Tomorrow at noon. I'll send you the details." He sighs.
