In November of 2017 TWICE had their 1st Twicetagram Fan signing event.
Like any other usual fan signing event, fans form in line to get their albums and other merch signed by their idols which Twice did for their fans.
In the middle of the event Twice members would stand up from their seats to interact with fans, and talk to them, they were given mics to do so.
So just like the rest of the members, Mina stood up from her seat and went in front of their table, she also held a mic.
She then spotted the cub walking around the stage as well, she signaled the cub to stand with her by offering her hand for Chaeyoung to hold which the cub gladly accepted.
Of course, she liked it, she admitted it inside and felt that strange spark again but didn't want to show her confusion in front of everyone.
She smiled, "Chaeyoung and I are a couple." she announced to everyone, making the fans tease them.

She was glad Chaeyoung played along and seemed to like their attention.
Before this event, JYP actually told already the main ships between the members and she was glad that she and Chaeyoung are one of the main ships.
JYP told them to act the part as the main shipped members, even if she wasn't told of this or wasn't shipped with Chaeyoung in the first place she would still give the cub such affection.
She somehow thought the latter felt the same, she wasn't against anything between them at all.
They will be encountering more fan signing events in the future but she'll never forget this one.
--- Earlier that year a photo between Mina and Bambam a GOT7 member under the same entertainment went around.
It was confirmed that the picture is real, so some fans started to suspect the two are dating.
Mina told the members what was going on between them is not what they think it is, the members just respected her answer instead and didn't ask more.
It doesn't mean they easily believed her, it's easy for anyone to deny anything, the most bothered person here is no other than the only Son Chaeyoung.
She respected Mina and didn't ask more like the other members did but even if she did that it's still stuck in her head even if it's not really much of her concern in the first place.
She's actually jealous right now of the thought that Mina and Bambam could be actually dating.
She's envious of the guy to date such a fine goddess like Mina. That's when it triggered her again, does she really see Mina in a way she shouldn't be seeing her?
But then she also thought does she really have to be a man to date a girl if she likes no- loves one?
The news cooled down little by little and Mina and Bambam were never seen together in that way again.
