Zhan started taking care of Yibo, he would send him breakfast and cook him dinner on nights he was available, they would then sit in the dining room eating in silence, nobody spoke to the other.

This continued for over two weeks. Yibo was starting to get confused and his heart grew weaker for Zhan, but he still didn't get answers of why Zhan was doing all these.

Today, Yibo decided to question Zhan.
He walked to his office and met him there.

"Good morning Yibo, is there something you want?" Zhan greeted first.

"Good morning too doctor Zhan, I want to talk to you" Zhan ushered Yibo to sit down.

"I want to ask, why are you doing this? Why are you taking care of me when I didn't ask you to."  Yibo asked courageously and Zhan smiled because he was expecting that question, just not that direct.

Zhan held Yibos hand in his, "listen Yibo, the reason I am doing all this, I want to court you, I want to belong to you again. "
He said patiently.

" I don't want to be courted Dr Zhan, for your information, I already have a girlfriend and she very much loves me." Yibo said and untangled his hand from Zhan's.

"Do you love her?" Zhan asked.

"Of course I love her" Yibo said looking down.

"Look into my eyes Yibo, do you love Xiong?

Yibo did not answer, he was quite for almost a minute but wait,
"How did you know her name?"

"Answer my question first"

"No, you answer my question first."

"With you I can never win, okay, wasn't she introduced to you by your mother, she used to be my junior back in school, and I know that she's not your girlfriend." Zhan said and Yibo looked at him amusedly.

"Now you've got to give me another reason not to pursue you." Zhan said teasingly.

"You want a reason, 5 years ago, I gave you a chance, you said that you'd wait for me but what did you do? You cheated me and cheated on me, now I can never trust you with my heart again." Yibo said angrily and walked out of the office slamming the door in the process.

Zhan just pulled his hair in frustration, this was going to be harder than expected, he would have to sweat blood before Yibo had forgiven him.

Zhan tried to recall what Yibo had told him earlier, "cheated me and cheated on me?"
As far as Zhan was concerned, he never cheated on Yibo, he never had anyone apart from his lovely and if it were not those people, they would still be together.

Zhan decided to call his sister to get to the bottom of things.

"Hello Lily, I'd like us to meet, can you come to the office "
"Okay, I'll be right there." He was thankful that lily worked in the same hospital.

Lily came a little bit later and they ordered some coffee.

"What do you want to talk about little brother, you look bothered " she asked, she's a psychologist after all

"Lily, Yibo thinks that I cheated on him, so do you have an idea of why he would think like that?" Zhan went straight to the point.

"Didn't you?" Lily asked.

"You too? Why would you even think like that? I can never cheat on Yibo..."

"Zhan, you know yibos 18th birthday, we both visited you in London, and you were with a girl and a baby, the girl said that she was your fiance." Lily said and gave Zhan the rest of the story.

"You know, Yibo was so broken, it took a lot of time to get him back." She finished.

"5 years ago? What was the girls name?"
Zhan asked

"If I remember correctly, her name was Xin Xing, you even called her love"

Zhan acted as if he was recalling something.
"I remember now, actually, her second name is Love and that's what we all called her, she was my friend's fiance, they are already married for 4 years now....that child is theirs" Zhan said still dumbfounded.

"Why did she say that she was your fiance?"

"I'm also wondering about that....I don't know why she said that as well."

"Do you realize that Yibo misunderstood this whole scenario, you gotta explain to him and make him forgive you, that boy went through a lot this years....and about you not communicating with him, you should explain that to him as well, maybe, just maybe he could take you back even as a friend."

Lily said seriously and Zhan's mood went down hearing the word friend, he didn't want to be just friends with Yibo.

"Thanks Lily, you're a life saver" Zhan said to her.

"Excuse me Dr Zhan, you have a patient" Zhan's nurse told him.
"I'll then excuse myself, think about whatever I said bro." Lily said and left, Zhan went to attend his patients.

In the evening, Zhan went to Yibos house, he knocked but nobody answered so he thought that maybe Yibo had gone out but would come back later. He got in his car and decided to wait there.

He had been waiting for 4 hours but Yibo didn't come, he had even fallen asleep, he decided to wait a little longer, it was hot in the car so he got out and sat outside the gate, just then the rain started falling, it was pretty heavy.

Zhan was about to run back to his car when he heard the door open then he saw Yibo coming out with an umbrella.

"What are you doing dumbass, do you want to get sick?" Yibo said as he opened the gate for him.

"Come on, get in" he said.

Zhan got in his car and drove it in yibos compound, he couldn't risk it staying outside and gaining unnecessary attention.

"You were here all this time?" Zhan asked.

"No, I flew in when you were sleeping..." Yibo replied sarcastically.

"Have you eaten?" Zhan asked again.
"Mn" Yibo answered.

"What, now you have become lan zhan, one word answer?"

"None of your business, go and change those before you get sick.." Yibo said pointing to Zhan's dripping clothes.

"What, worried about me?" Zhan teased.

"No you dumbass, I am worried about your patients, they need you"

"And....don't you need me?" Zhan asked hesitantly.
"Go and change.... pick any clothes from my closet " Yibo said and went to the kitchen, he prepared some warm chocolate drink for Zhan.

Zhan came from yibos room and found him in the kitchen.
"Here drink this...." Yibo told him.

He went to his room and got some blankets and a pillow.
"Here, use this and sleep here today, it's already late to go home now..." Yibo said pointing to the sofa.

"To answer your question," he got Zhan's attention,
" I needed you, but you were not there, I then wished never to need you again." Yibo said and went away to his bedroom.
