Kou Minamouto was standing at the foot of Kamome's academys gate, the school of him and his best friend Souske Mitsuba.
Kou had asked mitsuba a few days prior if he wanted to hangout, but it took him a few tries to get the stubborn pink haired boy to agree.
Sighing kou checked his watch, Mitsuba was 10 minutes late. Just as kou was heading home he spotted a short boy with a camera in hand.
Mitsuba waved at kou, running up to him clearly out of breath.
"h-hey ko-kou" he said in between breaths
"classic mitsuba late as ever-" kou laughed
"Well at least I'm here!.. where are you taking me anways?"
"Oh well..I know you like taking photos so..I though I'd bring you somewhere pretty" he smiled showing off his fangs
mitsuba loved when he smiled like that and it always caught him off guard
"hm- oh yeah right.. you better not try anything weird you perv-" mitsuba walked ahead of kou to hide his blushing face
"Wh- I will not! You know I'm not like that Souske-" kou paused realizing what he said.
"You...you called me by my first name?.."
Mitsuba looked at kou absolutely stunned
Kou blushed "ah..sorry I didn't mean to- "
Mitsuba cut him off "no..uh you can call me Souske.. if you want that is-"
Kou nodded his head while scratching the back of his neck his face red as a tomato
The two continued walking down the street, kou leading the way to the "pretty place" he was talking about.
He smiled turning to mitsuba "Were here!"
Mitsuba who was fiddling with his camera stopped and looked around, They were surrounded by cherry blossom trees with a pond close by.
"This is really pretty kou!" He smiled while letting his pink eyes reflect off the setting sun.
"You should go take some pictures, I bet they'll turn out great."
Mitsuba nodded, grabbing kou by the wrist and walking towards the pond
"Look at all the fish kou!" Mitsubas eyes light up as he started taking photos of them
"There really pretty, I like the orange and white one" he pointed to it in case he missed it
"hmm that one's lame, I think the black and white ones cooler!"
Kou huffed "yeah I think your right."
Mitsuba sat down, kou joining him moments later.
He stared into kou's eyes, they reminded him of the morning sky. Without thinking mitsuba took a photo of kou.
"dude..did you just take a photo of me?" Kou giggled
"WH- NO.. I mean who would want to take a photo of you lame-ass earring!" Mitsuba looked away out of embarrassment
He stood up and walked over to the blossom trees to take pictures to keep his mind at ease
Could he really be falling for someone like him?
Almost as he had forgotten about those thoughts kou came over to him.
"uhm Souske? You have a blossom petal in your hair-" kou grabbed it and smiled
pink color spread on mitsubas face once more
Although he thought his heart was gonna beat out of his chest he decided to speak up.
"Shouldn't we go home soon it's getting pretty dark.."
"Actually..I heard there was supposed to be a meteor shower tonight and thought we could watch it?"
Kou sounded very unsure of himself Untill he saw Souskes eyes light up.
"Are you kidding? I've always wanted to see a meteor shower!"
"Great! It's supposed to start at 10:45.. so in a few minutes!" Kou beamed
The two laid in the grass looking up into the night sky until kou broke the silence.
"WOAH MITSU DID YOU SEE THAT??" He sat up and looked at his best friend wondering if he saw the shooting star.
"YEAH I DID- " he paused "d-did you make a wish?"
"what do you mean? He paused for a moment before speaking back up
" I have everything I could want right in front of me"
Kou was blushing but not as nearly as much as mitsuba was
Just as mitsuba was about to speak kou put his hand on his cheek
"K-Kou??" His face was flushed with red
"I love you Souske."
Without thinking (again Bc he does that a lot)
Mitsuba pulled kou in for a kiss
"I love you to" kou looked mitsuba in the eyes watching the shooting stars flow through them
"Hey mitsu? Did you make a wish?"
"oh.. yeah"
"I wished to be with you"
