*Time skip to after their "date" *
"I'm so sorry about that mitsu..she tends to get a little carried away sometimes" he laughed nervously
"No no, it's okay I had fun" he smiled "we should make popcorn for our movie!"
"Yeah! I'll go make it while you find a movie to watch!"
Mitsuba smiled, jumped on the couch and grabbed the tv remote to turn it on
"mmmh what to watch...oh- this looks good.."
While mitsuba was still looking for the movie to watch, kou was putting the popcorn in the microwave
Once it was done, he was going to take it out of the microwave there was a loud thud
"was that...thunder?... MITSUBA ARE YOU OKAY?" He shouted to the living room
no response
Kou quickly ran to the living room, only to see that mitsuba had hidden himself underneath a blanket
"hah..what are you doing mitsu?"
He went over to him
"was that u-um thunder?" Mitsuba looked alarmed
"Yeah I think it's raining right now.."
"wait...WHAT- KOU I HAVE TO WALK HOME LATER-"
"uhh..I mean you could just stay here for the night..it's supposed to rain all night"
"HUH? YOU PERVERT I WOULD NEVER SLEEP IN THE SAME HOUSE WITH YOU- YOUR JUST TRYING TO LURE ME INTO DOING SOMETHING INDECENT! YOU STUPID PER-"
*20 minutes later*
"Are you done yet?"
"uh..yeah...I guess I'll text my mom and tell her I'm staying"
"AFTER ALL THAT YELLING YOUR
GONNA STAY AFTER ALL???"
"I mean why n-"
Just then another loud crash was heard
"WHAAH-" mitsuba yelled and hid back underneath the blanket
"jeez who knew you were such a scary cat"
Kou thought he would get one of mitsubas cocky responses but he kept quite
"sorry..let's just watch the movie"
Mitsuba peaked his head out and nodded
Kou was surprised to find that mitsuba had picked out a horror movie for them to watch
"uhh..are you sure you want to watch this?.."
Mitsuba scoffed "yea? Why would I have picked it if I didn't?"
—— I0 minute time skip ——
Mitsuba who was 100% confident that he would be able watch a horror movie, was now holding onto kou with tears in his eyes.
"eh.. mitsu i told you we shouldn't watch this.."
"NO- I mean it's fine I can handle it!"
Just then another crack of thunder was heard
Mitsuba yelped burying his face into his yellow haired friend
Kou turned off the TV and patted him on the back "come on let's just get some sleep"
Again, no response
"huh..mitsu?.." kou got a closer look at his face "woah he fell asleep that fast.."
Kou had two options, wake mitsuba up and get yelled at, or get yelled at in the morning for sleeping so close to him"
"He is only a friend...there's nothing wrong with this.." kou thought as he drifted off to sleep holding his "friend" Mitsuba Souske softly in his arms
