the tears that didn't seem to come out, floated on the brink of his eyes and slowly and surely eased out. the heart that didn't seem to feel anything wept too, for it yearned for her. the longing for her ran so deep in his veins that his body trembled with the sobs that threatened to choke him.

with tears flowing, he caressed the letter with shaking hands as if she were on the piece of paper itself, voicing out to him.

from the bottom of my heart, I love you.

I love you too. I love you too. please come back. please come back.

he whispered it again and again clutching that letter close to his chest like a mantra until he couldn't hear anything but the sound of his voice. yet, she didn't.

he felt as if he could never forgive her for what she did. but, he knew he could never loathe her. never in this lifetime. for her sweet smile and hazy eyes were well too tangled in his soul and mind.

with blurred vision, he gazed at her grave and mustered up the strength to smile at her.

'i hope you found your peace,' he whispered. and wept silently.

what a plot twist she was. one which he didn't think he could ever recover of.
